My buddy has a 2011 2SS with L99 and that Edelbrock supercharger plus other mods. He is putting out 850 HP at crank. Getting about 750 to rear wheels. Love these Camaros. I have a 2011 2SS/RS LS 3 6 speed. It has 26,000 original miles and in mint condition. Its a garage queen. LOL
that sucks i have a 2013 1le with 100000 miles and ive heard sometimes there are issues with the factory lifters.i guess most people are replacing them with johnson or the ls7 lifters@@vtimou5772
What mm and length bolt did you use? Also after gluing the bolt in did you drill a very small pilot hole at the head for the pin to sit in? I couldn't tell from the video as it was too fast at this part.
I have drilled my hole through the head but the hole is slightly wonky and not perfectly straight through the head. Does this matter or should i throw it into the skip. This was a last ditch effort for me before skipping it.@@vtimou5772
I managed to get my hands on an old replex oil filled bubble balancer paid £40 for it. But it doesnt work there seems to be a friction problem underneath the head and gave up.@@vtimou5772
I'm on the look out for a usa made vintage one but there mega money and not really worth importing it and finding out something is wrong with it later. Been struggling with this for a while.
I tried drilling on mine and it helps with the friction, BUT I can never get consistent results when I rotate the wheel on the balancer to double check balance. It seems perfectly balanced, then I rotate it 1/4 turn and its off. Another quarter turn and so on as I rotate 360. Results seem to be always inconsistent.
@@JustMe-gx4xti balanced mine 2 weeks ago and tested it up to 90mph and it’s perfect. When I rotated the tires to confirm the weight…it was not perfect but close enough so I proceeded to install it.
I know the 6.1 wouldn’t beat it cause I raced one in 2013 on my 2012 srt 8 challenger and he had headers tune and intake I only had a Diablo tune and a k&n and I was getting beat off the line by two length but would catch up after 7 seconds and pass him easily … on roll races 30 rolls he would take off on me about a car length and a half then I would pass him after I kicked from second to third …. On 60 rolls he’d still jump ahead a half car length but that was a faster win … I’d win in all three but that Camaro is a freak of nature for its year … nothing but respect for that car honestly …. I was living in a small border town and my 392 was the only one around for about a year before anyone had another one and that whole year I’d have all types of cars call me out .. my only request was to make it even as in no supercharger or nothing like that … and I beat 2010/2013 Camaros faster … I even went neck and neck and edged a victory on a 2013 zl1 but I know for a fact the driver was at fault he should have won but the dude must have been inexperienced…. It’s crazy I’d beat those newer camaros easier than I would beat the z28 old school … the only car that finally broke my unbeaten streak in those years was a roush mustang that had no badges on so the dude told me it was a 5.0 and we raced .. mf left me like 6 car length behind 🤣…. I was friends with his circle of friends and we stopped at a store he popped the hood I was like no wonder mf … we had a blast though beat 17 cars before I lost to him … it was good times I was only 21 … I still have my challenger … I take care of it cause it was the first car I paid off the dealership .. it only has 41400 miles or so atm and is still stock … I want to get a 2013 or a 2017 mustang 5.0 to supercharge it and daily that one… but for right now I have a Sentra with a loud ass sound system and I love the heck out of both of my cars … my challenger is just pure stock American muscle but my Sentra has such a good sound system and it’s my daily so I love the fact it is a total gas saver 😂…. Fyi young men reading this … I’m 33 yrs young now and I still pull women on a Sentra … it’s not about the car you drive it’s about the confidence and self belief in yourself… don’t spend your young years paying cars you can’t afford and be yourself … work hard and I promise one day you will have the car you want … just don’t get a girl pregnant at a young age and work on building financial stability and comfort before you start to buy wants and focus on the needs … life might seem short but you have plenty of time to enjoy …. That's not stock when you delete or add somethings for better performance. However, on a cold day with a set of rims and drag radials...that's a best bang for the buck mod right there.,
Pull the hoses off before unscrewing the ring. You're fighting yourself. Also if the line is being stubborn unlatching, squeeze and push forward slightly then back. The center hose is just a squeeze. Look at the tabs and you'll be able to see where and how to squeeze.
