Welcome to Dugmer Junction & Highfield Road. In June 2010 My farther started a new build in the loft which he would later name Dugmer Junction. We published several shorts clips and running sessions of trains passing the camera over the following 5 years. Due to life events there was a 2 years hiatus from RU-vid. Unfortunately in 2017 after a water tank removal in the loft and several warped boards we decided to start again.
We are extremely proud to be the 1st Model Railway RU-vid Channel to "GO LIVE" on the 29th May 2014.
In November 2018 Dugmer Junction MK2 was launched and now resides in a cabin which allows better access for my Dad. In May 2021 Highfield Road which is our secondary layout was born.
We are a rule 1 railway and have no set rules, You can see all sorts of locos from Steam, Diesel and Electrics in various liveries and various rolling stock.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported the channel.
That was brilliant, you have more 50's than British Rail ever had.............Nice to see such a great collection. Thanks for taking the time to film them all. All the very best Dave.
Technically no as I am missing 50001 but I did have a fictional 50101 which has the same name as 50001… do you have a meet the fleet for the 37’s? I’ll give it a watch!
I've only used a DC version from Express for the ancient APT. I'm wondering if a reverse EMF diode is out of circuit with the aux that's feeding it, so it would be getting a bit of signal from the common negative. That's guess work...also check the soldering on that lighting board. Maybe a faulty decoder? Failing that, a phone call to Express Wayne.
@@hotdogpilot6319 yup tried 3 haha! Worse case I’ll try wiring for a 2 function so you can’t independently turn on/off tail lights and see if that helps…. Or just run it in one direction
Great to see the loco starting up again. These engines were not designed with pre-heaters or be shut down for long periods of time. So I can understand why it takes a while for all the cylinders to start firing. Great job on the restore.
COME ON BABY spark dat fuel. LETS HAVE SOME CLAGG. You can HEAR each cylinder lighting off one at a time as she warms up SUPERB HOOVER!! Greta Thundberg will be THUMBS DOWN for this video🤣😂 18:05 THERE go the turbos - NOW coming to life!!
You don't need to take the bogies off and undo the screws on the bottom of the coach, just take the piping of the ends and remove the body keeping the coach floor attached to the chassis. Better still don't take them apart in the first place.
Tried this previously and personally wouldn’t advice it as the sides of the body tuck under the seating compartments and the compartment would be screwed in the chassis still if you don’t unscrew them. unless the roof and sides clips come away with ease (in my experience they don’t) It’s difficult and easier in my opinion to use the method in the video :)
hello l like how at the end they idle the engine rpms back down to normal idle by each notch and I think they should shut down the engine because they are losing oil in the class 50 engine
Fascinating so far. Everything seems to be moving at warp speed, I certainly wouldn't like to be on that carousel. Everything that is, apart from the one thing that arguably should; the flying saucer! As for the 'drifting' duck 11:52 ..!
I agree with other comments here. The trains are set much to fast for it to look like a model railway. I guess it is done for the kids but spoils it for me. Perhaps you could pass these comments to Peco for their information! A great video and shows off their displays very well. Many thanks.
