Here you will find videos related to electronics repair, gaming repair and collecting, music and anything else that I find interesting along the way. Enjoy!
I would appreciate if you make more videos like this, although maybe you aren't that interested after 8 year xd. I've been learning how to hack nes games and this is the only video I found that teaches how to change variables like timers and health and generally how to use the hex editor. It'd be nice to know more tricks like this, nice video.
I have question I'm trying to cheat on certain game from website Retroverse or nes game called Burn'em Down. Trying to get infinite health. Kinda what u did with Castlevania. How?
Believe it or not I had this exact same thing happen to my AVS system. My mini usb power port was ripped off the board with the cord by an angry xwife during a domestic dispute, but never the less same outcome. Anyway 4yrs later and i just had a friend of mine drop it back off to me all soldered back up and working again. I didn't try super gluing it back on thow. Pretty good soldering repair Brad.👍 RGT your not the only one to have this dilemma.Pretty ironic. If anybody else should have this happen to them and is in need of the mini usb port on the AVS i have extras. For some reason my friend said it was only a few dollars more to order a 5 pack of the ports so i do have 4 more extras if this should happen to anyone else & your in need of a new port, get a hold of me i have extras 😉
Are the AVS's Power & Reset buttons supposed to be slightly slanted to the right? I've taken my AVS apart and i can't get them aligned properly to look straight once i pop the top piece back on. :P
Hey I know this video is from 6 years ago, but I'm wondering if you know if the ball top is removal? It seems to be _very_ large, like 45mm. Most ball tops are 30mm. I can't seem to get mine to move at all on my Arcade Power Stick. Wondering if you have any luck with yours. Maybe it's glued in place, maybe it's all one piece. What do you think? Thanks.
Im getting a white screen on my super famicom also. Do you think it may also be a pin connector issue? I tried cleaning it and it seems ok 🤷♂️ but still get the white screen
Is it possible to open the card reader on a New 3DS XL? Some of the pins are too far out of reach to grab with tweezers. This must have been two pieces at some point.
BTW, If you slam your fist down a time or two on the power button area sometimes it will come on and work fine, Also, when that doesn't work you can take the front panel off and remove the power button and fiddle with the wires and put it all back together and it will work perfect for a while until it doesn't. I'm thinking a short in the power button wiring?
hi i just got it nonster hunter stories from amazon and it just writes no game card something to start with but now it says nothing I can play all other games fine there is nothing it's only the game it does it on and it's completely new what do you think I should do :-( :-)
All of my games work except Zelda. It's white screen. I've used pink eraser, IPA on it. The connectors look good. Still white screen. Other games still work great, even another Zelda fires right up. ??
Mine is brand new. I played it a couple of times and now it has a blinking grey and black screen that just blinks in and out. Just stopped working suddenly. Not sure if it's a bad av cord or a defective system all together. Any suggestions that may help. Thank you!
I havr a Wii U with no video (not even black screen) and won't sync to the game pad. I've swapped out the fan, bluetooth, both wifi cards and the dvd drive from a known good Wii U and nothing. The power supply and HDMI cable works fine. I've tried composite and hdmi. No joy. I'm open to suggestions or I'll gladly send you the board to look at if you feel like the challenge?
I have been looking at an old arcade game that has been for sale for awhile that the CRT is bad, wasn't sure how to convert it...TY I will be buying it now!...lol
Seeing a few sites with instructions, one of which saying that picking up the audio from that location can be harmful to the TIA and to the TV, because it's basically picking up the audio directly from the TIA (no protection), and it's better to pick up the audio from the right side of (next to the ground for the RF shield) R207 (after removing it) keeping the decoupling capacitor in circuit. I have a 4 switch woody with a rev 13 board, many say to remove the transistor and R209, some Also remove R222, and some also have R207 removed. The more I research, the more confused I become on what resistors to remove, I haven't removed any of the resistors yet but have removed the transistor. The AV mod I installed is pretty much like yours but on a circuit board with hooking it up in the same locations (although I'm second guessing on where I should pick up the audio from.
cette image de symboles ne s'affiche pas chez ma wii u aidé moi svp , j'ai même changé la gamepad et toujours la même chose il m'écrit ( une erreur est survenue éteignez, puis rallumez la console )
Thanks for the video. I'm on my DV4 2045dx now that's up and running from watching your video. Only problem is I forgot to put that little plastic square cover back on the chip. I did use new thermal pads and new thermal paste, and I used the lids from old multi vitamin bottles as 4 feet under the laptop so it sits 1/2 inch higher off the table for better airflow, plus I have a small 6 inch external fan that runs off the usb port to keep air passing under it when it's running. Do you think It will be okay without that plastic cover?
