Thank you for a simple explanation. I had been trying for hours, other videos talk about using 4 different software programs together or proprietary addons and I knew there had to be a better way!
Thank you for great presentation of trimmed surface analysis like an isogomeric anyalsis fremwork, directly utilized trimming information important from Comupter Aid Design system and has been successfully applied to problems involving complex topologies. In planty Methods we can see the point like - exploiting the concept of trimmed surface analysis. Nice workout!
Hello I need Help. I have some mesh data and that data having some problem. I can't found that problem so give some advice which tool help for finding my problem.
Hi, thank you for sharing this tutorial! :D I was just wondering, what do I do if my .las-file that I import doesn't have any colors, other than red/blue-ish points (the ones that make up the point cloud). Is it incorrectly scanned if there are no colors, or do I need to import something/perform a certain action? Thanks in advance! :)
Thank you very much. Have the Scanstation 2 that we are trying to use with drone photogrammetry. It’s a pilot project at the moment. This is very helpful. Cheers from Newfoundland.
hello future architects, I have just discovered your channel and I would really like to have more information on architectural studies at UQ. since last year I wanted to integrate your architecture school in master but that was not done because of the current reasons of the covid. I am currently studying architecture in France and I am redoing my application to join your school. I would like to talk to architecture students from your school to get a little feedback on experience, level of study and density of work. also know what software you are using so as not to be completely lost when I arrive knowing also that I do not speak excellent English and that I would have to arrive in advance to upgrade. thank you and look forward to hearing from you!
When doing these videos you have to explain what you are doing and why. My feeling are that this was a bit of an experiment, you are unsure of what is going to make it work and flying around with the mouse not explaining the process / next step you are following was so annoying I'm sorry to say, no focus.
What you want to do: 1:25 : Compute Normals: "Filters \ Normals, Curvature and Orientation \ Compute Normals for Point Sets" 4:07 : Remeshing': "Filters \ Simplification and Reconstruction \ Surface Reconstruction Poisson"
I'm studying here. This video is pretty misleading as any other marketing materials. You study architecture through "theories" and "readings", what a joke? Nothing practical, hand-on and innovative as they make it sound in this video. I'm transferring to QUT next semester! The fake qs rankings doesn't cut it.
so i'm planning on having my Master's at UQ. did you really transfer? was it worth it? is UQ worth it? i'm an international student so your opinion would really matter.
Fuck yeah. Helping me alot through my sustainability and decision making class. I'm a student at CWU. I do like your patience and composure. Truly you make me engaged because your voice is actually so cool bro.
First of all, point normals, which is not a thing, should be part of the meshing, not discrete functions. Second, it should not leave all that garbage geometry. Third, it's format intolerant, fourth, it crashes left and right. Fifth and the least of its offenses but still, I tried it on vegetation from a small section of a neighborhood and it failed spectacularly compounded by the idiocy of leaving artifact unmatched faces of the less than impressive algorithm. It had one job, instead created a myriad of other functions, all useless. Any meshing software even remotely decent is 4 grand. This is pathetic, folks.
