One of the only F15 videos where you get the full start up growl/high pitched howl and old British Leyland starter motor working overtime, symphony! Beautiful music. 1994, just 3 years after the gulf war. I saw these jets fly at Lakenheath around this time. Now I feel old😞😅
I just found out about this event and glad i did. This one was really satisfying to watch. I'm glad it's in September since it's the same month of Hispanic Heritage Month. I've definitely got a couple things I would have stuffed into it.

Sentimental 'Road Trip' for me. I remember what incidents happened about ever milepost. Deaths, wrecks, fires, suicides, etc. It's a lot safer now days. ATSF/BNSF retired 2015, after 37 years. No injuries, no 'OP's Test Failures, no 'Suspensions', no discipline either..... and.....you won't believe this....But.....BNSF Vice President Rob Reily hosted my 'Suprise Retirement Party'. AND, I made it OUT WITH ALL of MY LIMBS Too ! First started with the railroad with the Penn Central in Toledo Ohio in the mid 70's but I didn't last long acct I'm very Native to California. Had never seen those violent lightning storms before and my first time I was sure that THIS IS the END of TIME. I was 19 then. A little more than that now. I rode this section but the Chief only to Fullerton, but i took a Surfliner to LA from Fullerton, definetly remember that Flyover, it was less than a year old when i went over it
Love trains. Took one from Calif. to Chicago to Dayton, Ohio. Back in the 60s. I wasnt even 10 yrs. old. We had so much fun. My parents wanted to see the country.
I was at the TRUMP Hotel in Vegas on the 19-20th and i still remember the lawn chairs going into the water , the pool almost flooding but the thing i was really interested in was the TV built into the bathroom mirror!

For all of those who are complaining about this and that, if you don't like it, then go in a bus , ( Good luck with that ) or drive your own car , these employees are only doing there job , and for me , they do it very well , sometimes they don't get to see their families for days, so stop complaining.
