I've spent my entire life fishing and fishing hard in both fresh and saltwater, it's my passion and my church. Join my friends and I as we fish for many different species on various bodies of water in our region. A like on the videos and subscription would be most appreciated as it helps me build my channel.
See ya folks in the comments or out there on the water!
My Grandparents Owned Property in Echo Point and I grew up on this Lake. Haven't been there in over 20 Years, but will be returning next Month. Can't Wait
Just a heads up, the lake no longer is stocked with striped bass. They replaced striped bass with blue catfish stocking 5 years ago and some decent size blue cats are beginning to be caught there.
You'd have to get ahold of cummins or ranger and have a custom one made which will be extremely pricey. Rubber net wouldn't be deep enough in my opinion and You'd losse a lot of fish
For the areas I fish, I'd say shallow husky jerks, bandit shallow divers, xtackle 6" shallows, smithwick p10s are my bread and butter. Some nights they are picky about certain colors, depths and retrieves, other nights they will smash a ball of foil with a hook on it. Right place, right time. I actually made a video about this if you want to check it out
Decent video. looking fwd to seeing more of your content. Musky is my "white whale". Any chance you'd pass along where some good areas are? I live 40 min from there! Thanks
This was one of my starter videos with just my phone, lost one this day trying to play with my phone while fighting them. Think I missed 2 fish in like 10 casts! Fish were definitely on that day. As for good areas, truly any area except shallow mud flats can be good for musky there. If you just want a musky and not concerned about size, toss bass cranks or spinnerbaits with a leader and you'll get one. What type of boat you got? 😁
@@karlwolf101 I’m a kayak guy. I have a feelfree lure 11.5. Am hoping to go next wk on Tuesday or Wednesday since i will be finishing up a 48 hr shift at work (Sunday/Monday). Any tips on color recommendations? Any other tips? Like I said musky is my “white whale” (Seinfeld reference). Lol. Anyway, thanks for the help. Hope you’re having a good day sir. -Aaron
Weekdays are the only days you can fish the main lake in a kayak or small boat when the water warms up and the wave makers come put. The west side (no wake side) is still cool enough for big musky to be hanging out over there or you can risk the main lake
Saw two boats targeting crappie shallow but I don't think they did well. The crappie were still holding about 20ft on this deep lake and not staging for spawn yet
Nice video! Good to see you guys out again, I've been so busy gardening and mushroom hunting I haven't made enough time for fishing. I see I'm missing out! Tight lines Karl! 🤙
I'm more of a pause and twitch guy myself but sometimes slow and steady is the ticket or even slow sweeps and pauses. Definitely very slow retrieves though
Nice assortment! I’ve got the walleye opener coming up on the 4th and 5th and we are going to go out at midnight. What are your recommendations for good night fishing colours?
Great getting to get back to fishing with you !! I really enjoy fishing with you guys. Can’t wait for many more trips with you this year and lots of fun and adventure !!
