I am an ardent fan of A. M. Rajah Sir and I am delighted to see this video. Recently, I saw in an RU-vid video, the abandoned and ruined house of Rajah Sir; I think in Chithoor district of Andhra Pradesh. I felt very sad. I hope either A. P. Government or T.N. Government will renovate it and convert into a commemorative museum in the memory of this legendary person, if possible, with the permission of the present owners. I am Telugu; don't know Tamil. Even then I used to listen his Tamil songs frequently.
A.M RAJA gaaru is great singer par excellence. The legendary Hindi singer Talat Mahmood and AM RAJA were the only singers of soft and melodious songs, Also Jikki amma is great singer and both were made for each other .The songs sung by him in his music direction in the movie Pelli Kanuka"Telugu and the same in TmilKalyana parisu in are great hits ! We are happy for this video produced by Bhuvan His granddaughter, God bless you Bhuvan!
My favourite singer for my favourite actor Gemini Ganesh.He couldn't reach the potential heights in his field due to his adamant attitude & intense politics in film industry.This adversely affected Jikki's career too.Ultimately he suffered a lot financially & met with a tragic end too.But his sweet voice/songs will live for EVER!
A. M. Raja was/ is my favorite singer/usic Director. So was Jikki my favourite female singer. Glad to see these information, I have met and was in contact with A. M. R during 1960/70s.
