I remember finding a VHS for this movie way back in 2008 on eBay and I never saw it again and always kept telling everyone about it, but no one believed me about it and for years it was just something I thought was either made up or I dreamt it all. Fast forwards to years later, and then I hear about it again and then I tracked it down to here. Many thanks to you for finding this.
I don't understand the idea of burying the vocal so deeply in the mix. It's not so bad on, "Arnold Ziffel Has Risen From The Grave" - which is a very funny, good one. {Poor Lisa!} I like the general sense of humor, and this is well done. Best of Success to You! Reminds me somewhat of when we started "The Murderers" in 1981, and the vocal sounds like a copy of GG.
The background vocals and the chorus of Go Rot and Götterdämmerung were done like that intentionally. In the case of some of the lead vocals they just came out like that even though they were turned all the way up for the final mix, hence the inclusion of lyrics. Bear in mind this is DIY, recorded & mixed on a TASCAM DP-008EX and not in a professional recording studio. Should this take off, I intend to find someone to handle the vocal duties because IMHO I really sound like shit. This would probably sound better with headphones. Thanks for the critique!
same here. I have it on DVD and made an all monster scenes video with it. despite the look of the CG in the movie...it's a very fun monster movie with cool looking monsters. this movie...jesus...yonggary whoops dinosaur zuzu's ass.
By the way, if you ever come across the sequel to this one (1967) "Batman Fights Dracula", let me know. I have been searching for it for years now. In fact in was looking for it when I came across this earlier one.
