who brings the mermail, made a trap since the armored shark, brings fish and brought a sea serpent, Also, the horden of the chains plays poorly, what a terrible mermail player.
@Sharkdygo the one on the front of rage of the abyss. Negates an effect, puts the monsters stats to zero, does piercing, and lets you attack twice. Plus with abyss shark it's damage is doubled so that's 6200 damage in 1 attack and you still have a second. Thats an otk.
Any thoughts on fishborg harpooner (x2) instead of 2 of the ready fusions? It acts as another way to special big jaws, and it can save your hand when stuck with too many normal summons (I.e. princess, buzzsaw, fishborg, 2 hand traps). Might also let you lower your ED rare fishes by 1 since now you’ve only got two spell targets, and if you happen to hard draw instant + ready over the course of a duel then you could alway put the rare fish back off levirtue dragon instead of adding back follow-up if your hand already has another normal summon for follow-up. Just food for thought, harpooner is such insane water support that I’ve been playing it in sharks, plunder, and even my Atlantean mermail list, it’s great at pushing through interruptions even if the deck isn’t playing a synchro to make use of its second effect. Also I was surprised we aren’t playing the new water channeler, when I read it I thought it was a shoe-in since you can directly search for abyss shark/ gameciel but I guess with big jaws emphasizing spell cards so much it makes sense why we don’t consider it.
@@SharkdYGO sharks have that “good issue” of having a lot of different ways to add consistency to the deck it feels like. I’ve had lists with and without princess, or the instant / ready fusion package, I’ve used the foolish burial goods engine or even just foolish with like right hand shark, there just seems to be so many ways to play the deck it’s sort of down to preference at this point. I would be so curious to know what like a super computer “optimized” list would look like that has the perfect ratios of starters, extenders, non-engine, and ends on the best boards going first while having the best chance at breaking boards going second. I have a feeling that list would look insane and would have a lot of one ofs haha
also i feel like when tachyon comes out u can put in nash night and get more sucks instead of ending on utopic cause your gonna run 101 honor anyway so put these 2 in the extra intstead of the rare fish
in my opinion Utopia does the same, but better. you can left a field with 1 number 99, 1 Utopic leo ray + eqip whit ZW pegasus twin saber(monster negation with chain.) 1 Number F0. and the XYZ fortress to do the trap card combo. and at the start of the op turn you sp sum, a Number 38 (spell negation) + avoid to get the monsters destroyed by the op effs 1 time!!!
