I heard about this jam session but never heard it before now. Prince trying a different blend of musicians from 2 of his best bands with himself on drums which I wasn't aware of. This should've been Madhouse
Sounds like ish. Yep, I'm a long time fan but this is more proof of what I've said for a while. Singing was NOT Princes strong point. And, due to those who spout that best artist ever, best guitarist ever, genius silliness, he actually falls into the OVERRATED category.
i want to slap this drummer. WHY IS HE SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! prince was a genius for creating the drums on this but this drummer brought it to life. I feel like this is michael bland. i could be wrong but either way sheeesh!!!!!! EDIT: being the 80s likely bobby Z
Just imagine the amount of hours he practiced as a teenager to be this good. Withe video games, RU-vid, and social media nowadays, will we ever have another Prince? NOPE!
Just watching Mayte makes my 53 year old arse tired. Lol. It's great to see her thriving today with her daughter and her dog rescue. Such a sweet, kind person.
This has definitely received an upgrade in sound quality since I last heard it, so thanks to whomever is responsible for that, and to New Paisley Generation for posting it. It seems the Prince Estate can't be bothered with such things these days, which is unfortunate, as "Go" is a lost classic in my book.
