These machines are just trash!!! They need to stick with the TVs, ONLY. Their customer service is horrendous and they always try to avoid you, refuse to resolve, etc... My first time buying samsung AND LAST ONE!!!!

Mine was making a very similar noise. I found a broken blade on the blower fan. Replaced blower fan and it's like new!

*Easy to use.◇◇>**allmy.tips/Samsung-Dryer?E57** Fairly compact for its capacity. Using it above a washer so the only negative is that the controls are at the top AND are angled back so it makes it hard to see/change without a step stool.*

I paid $117 dollars to find out you people are dealing with the symptom, not the problem. The machine makes noise, but duct tapeing the exhaust vent only deals with the symptom. The problem is you use dryer static sheets which causes lint to stick to the squirrel cage blower fan. It then gets out of balance and causes vibration and noise. Take the top off, the front off and clean the fan. Problem solved. Oh, lay off the dryer sheets or keep cleaning, your pick.

I have never used dryer sheets, but I will take a look at the fan next time it makes noise. Good call

My son fixed my 2012 Samsung dryer which was making that same deafening sound sound. My husband and 20year old son found the cause and fixed it!! I hope this helps someone! First tipped it on it's side and pulled out 3 handfuls of change and other items, it still made the same sound. So my son took the pipe off (the one you supported with insulation, cleaned it and also cleaned out much more lint UNDER THE LINT SCREEN. It still rattled. He then unscrewed that left front piece connected to where the lint screen expels its air and found the inside fan to be clogged with so much hair that made it to spin, which put stress on the tube causing the rattle. He cleaned that part off and now it purrs so quietly!!! Also for years I've been using dryer sheets which coated these pieces with a stickiness that makes it more likely to attract the lint. I now use the dryer balls. I hope this helps.

I'm so glad Chris R posted this video! It helped us see the problem causing the sound....My son took off the piece you see which covers the lint screen and connects to the that rattling tube. So thanks Chris R!! :) :)

Have you taken out the 3 white plastic round clips on the underside? If you tilt the dryer back and remove those clips, it should fix the problem

I am having the exact same problem with my model, which appears to be the same as yours. Samsung refused to address it and said it was clearly an improper installation issue (I had the install rechecked and no surprise it's installed properly and level). At least now I know what it is and can try to fix it. It's beyond frustrating to have a new dryer that is louder then the 10 year old model it replaced. Thanks for sharing this!

Happy to help! Both this and the washer are noisy junk. The exact model is DV45H6300EW but there are 2 or 3 models in the same series, I would imagine built the same way. The insulation I used as support was pricey for a large quantity. I had it leftover from a different project, so no harm. Although the pressure is starting to give way & the noise could be coming back. I would try getting a large worm gear clamp like the one use to attach the vent on the back and apply tension on that loose slip joint. I know alllll about their support blaming level installation, hahahaha

I have the same problem after having my samsung for 3 years! Wish I would have known they were all problematic and buy a different one.
