Holy crap, how did I not think of this. To date my best trick was saving the thick rubber bands that come on broccoli heads, but those always break after a while and then it becomes a mess again. This is way better! Thanks for sharing!
When I was a teenager I had a car with a bad battery. I sat in a McDonalds parking lot with jumper cables dangling over my hood so hopefully someone would stop and jump my car. A woman asked if I needed help and I told her, I just need a jump. She asked what that required so I explained, any vehicle with a battery. I should have been more specific. She said "Oh, sorry, I don't believe my van has one of those" as she promptly rolled up her window and sped away. I'm a firm believer in something like this to help new drivers on the road!
