No worries thanks for asking. I was doing great, but killed it being in a hurry in 2017. Times got tough relocating to cal and i jumped the gun repotting it in a rush, one of the biggest mistakes ive ever made. Fortunately ive adjusted and finally collected a big red to replace it. I've only seen them on ig, but I have a goldfish pond in my yard, and I want to dress it up when I'm finished my bonsai workshop. I should put an underwater live web cam in it and make it awesome. Thanks for asking!
It's really tight growth, so satisfying. It looks prickly, but it's soft to the touch. I like this more and more every time I work on it. I recommend growing these. I need to clone this.
I just got a bald cypress this year. Found it at Lowe’s on the bargain shelf because the top died off. So I grabbed it and planted it in my front yard. That same Lowe’s store has a row of bald cypress growing out in the parking lot and have a fair number of seed pods. Im waiting for them to fall so I can collect them for propagation. I have grown an affinity for the native flora of the American Southeast. While in South Carolina, was collecting fallen cones from loblolly pines and live oak acorns. I’m very new with seed propagation on trees, but am willing to try it as a second approach next to air layering. I’m pretty patient, so if the seeds sprout, I’ll be planting them in the raised garden and let them do their thing. It could be interesting. I’m from Baltimore county, so I don’t see deep southern material like this regularly; and seeing it growing in my yard would be pretty wild.

Thanks, but no it's just a dope stereo. It was a prop in a short film i was in last week, so it happened to be in my workshop and I used it to prop the tree up into the camera frame. Felt like the 80s
The hardest part of all of this is cutting the roots. At least it's my hardest part. All mine are just in potting soil. Deep pots. But I don't mind. Except the weight of the soil.
@@bonsaihunters Thank you for answering me I am going now towards winter i live in Italy , from December to March can be even under 0 degrees ,under of 32 Fareneid . I have to cut some taps in the roods . After that I would recommend to pack and hold over 32 degrees if I could send you the photos also by email thanks
Bontone rooting powder. I havent rooted giant seqouia yet, although I havent really tried enough. I rooted so many coastal redwoods, I ran out of space and hands. I'll be repotting all those cutting that lived asap. Most of them rooting without anything, I made the right conditions for it to happen naturally.
I picking my last jar of rooting powder up on the curb in a free box!!. There's so many kinds. I suggest searching youtube for the different kinds suitable for your preference. What are you cloning?
