In the Arab Emirates the employers seize the passports of Indian workers, and keep them under their possession which is illegal. However, they would not dare to seize a passport of a UK, US, or Canadian. This is because the Indian embassy lacks the balls to notify the Sheikhs its illegal. 2. Once an Indian passport expires while overseas an Indian cannot return to his own country. Now this is huge. 3. There is no dual citizenship someone acquires a foreign citizenship, the Indian passport has to be surrendered. Seems like India is cut off from the rest of the world it is indeed a third world country.
