Stunning looks but the sound is wrong. Bin the turbo, add some 45mm webbers. When the motor is out to 3ltrs with a good big valve head and a reasonable cam they make 260+hp and sound like racers at 6.5-7k rpm.
Man oh man i always wanted a 280zx or if lucky a first gen 240z with a L28 turbo hope one day i get one and if it needs restoring i know who to come to when i get that z
I can’t stand everyone doing an LS swap on every car, can anyone let me know if this car would be cool/possible swapped with these options: Ford Coyote V8 (probably 3rd gen) and Lexus’s 1UZ-FE 4.0 liter V8 (as they are fairly cool and I actually have one) if not does anyone have a cool recommendation for me?
What a great looking coupe. I had a '81 R30 sedan for fourteen years. It had a pod filter, headers, 2" sports exhaust, lowered sports suspension, slotted rotors and 15 x 7 inch alloys. I wish I'd never sold it.
Just a grab bag of legendary sickness in that group! I would be thoroughly stoked to own &/or drive any of them. That 240 though, mmmhmm. But also any of those 935's, or the 2002's, or that M1 or the lone super sick Skyline. 🤤
