Kevin was my roommate when I got out of college in 1979. We worked together. He always played his bass. He was great friend, a smart, funny talented guy. Lived on State street together. Man I miss those days and I miss him.
When I saw this I thought "oh man I guess my town isn't special" because nobody ever talks about Maine 😂 I live in Gorham and someone's done it here for years. I guess it rubbed off on the surrounding towns!
As someone who has lived in Portland, Maine for most of my life I can confirm that you can still find Kevin’s heart all over the city year-round. A lot of businesses and people just don’t take them down when they get one. Everyone I know has received joy in some way or another from his hearts. One of the most beautiful phenomenons of all time, and it happened in my life, right where I live. Thanks you, Kevin! Rest In Peace you beautiful soul!
Grew up in Maine all my life and could always remember seeing these throughout Portland. Was sad to hear his passing in the news but happy that everyone celebrated what he did and continued what he strived to do which was help spread love in the community ❤️
