I have Pedophobia and mild Ephebiphobia, which is fear of teens under 18. Both developed 3 years ago. But not as weird as my fear of distance. I don't even think there is a name for it yet. But when I get pretty sick or even normal sick, I have a massive fear of distance, to where I have to focus on my glasses and put my hands in front of my face and focus on them. Anything far away freaks me out. Only way to deal with it is watch TV and completely distract myself. Glad for phones, it's much easier to put up close then a TV especially when your sick. The phobia started when I got pneumonia for the first time when I was 10 or 11. Hit out of nowhere.
Mind you, not the fear of open spaces like agoraphobia. Just the distance of objects to me, technically a touch agoraphobia but the distance of the open stuff not the space itself.

I got one, anyone ever heard of someone getting mawled to death in their own home by cats...? Ever see cat owners use their cats as a deadly weapon to attack others? How about small dogs and other cats getting mawled to death by other stray cats having neglectful owners? Hmmm I love cats, only have cats, and I could never handle the responsibility of dogs and all the negative type of smug people they so unfortunately attract. Dogs alone I love, its the kind of humans they attract as a whole! Irresponsible and neglectful owners!
-Cats don't bark all day and all night for no reason and keep the entire neighborhood up -Cats don't need to be walked 6 times a day -Cats don't smell like total shit -most cats don't lick people -Cats are low maintenance and independant -Cats don't eat their own shit -Cat owners respect others' boundaries and don't say shit like "oh he's just playing its fine" when someone doesn't want to be jumped on, ran at, licked, etc -Cats don't need to be brought everywhere their owners want to go -There are no breeds of domestic cats bred specifically to fight/kill -Cat owners actually clean up after their cats -Cat-inflicted injuries consist of small scratches or bites. I used to be pretty moderate on this debate. But between a friends cat getting killed by a pitbull in his own yard, some time spent volunteering at a shelter with mislabeled aggressive dogs, and a neighbors dog barking incessantly 50 feet from my bedroom window every minute of every day for the last eight months have all pushed me pretty far to one side.
