Little tip for ya Dont ever let the fish come close to the surface cuz its most likely to come off set the hook and Keep it under until its near you just a friendly tip 😊
Thanks that's good advice. But it's better video if I can get a few jumps. In tournaments I always keep my rod tip down unless there's extremely heavy timber or dock cables.
@@ImBACONATERPIGit's not always going to work but keeping your rod tip low to the water or sometimes submerged and (for me) constantly reeling helps keep bass from jumping but it's a wild animal and will do what it wants.
That was a nice catch man . I like how you are kayak fishing 🎣 barefooted 👣 man cuz I have to kayak 🛶 barefooted 👣 too because I have big & very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 sz15 6E wide ( which is very very extremely wide feet 🦶 ) with very very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. My foot outgrow shoes , socks , and boots when I was young because of how extremely wide my feet 🦶 are. I am a big dude myself same size as you & I have 6 boys that have very wide feet 🦶 as well & when they saw this video they said we look like brother . which I thought that was pretty cool man. I can see why because both like to kayak fish 🎣 , be barefooted 👣 while kayaking 🛶 , I love kayak camping 🏕 , & all 6 of my boys do too so I can see why they think that. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this video buddy .
Sometime fishing 🎣 in the rain is alright if you don't mind getting wet. I like how you are doing it barefooted 👣 too. I am a barefooted 👣 person & kayaker 🛶 . I even have to drive my car 🚗 barefooted 👣 because I have big very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 that are 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe & my feet 🦶 touch both gas & brakes pedal at the same time. I have to look down at the pedal to see where to put my foot at so that I don't have a rear end collection because of how extremely wide my feet 🦶 are. I never knew that having a foot this extremely wide would have so much problems. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this video.
Your welcome. As far as fishing kayak videos go I don't think I've seen one that's an actual kayak. They're all what I call a 1 person boat. 5k+ for a yak kinda defeats the main reason, cost, I started using a kayak to fish
It's odd. Sometimes these pond bass fight with everything they have sometimes they just give up like "yeah you got me now take a pic and let me get back to business"
At the time just my android phone. I held my phone in one hand and the rod in the other using my last 2 fingers to reel up slack. Not the easiest way and I lost a few doing it. But I've upgraded to a GoPro 12.
Indeed. Filming with my phone in one hand and reeling in a bass with the other is a dubious proposition at best. My next big, for me, purchase is a GoPro package.
