I've been feeding Peanuts 🥜 to Squirrel's besides my house for years. I've had couple get close but I never got to give one a Peanuts by hand. And that's what I'm hopeful for. I love watching them outside. One I call baby she really gets close but not close enough and she's so Greedy With them Peanuts. This is cool how long did it take you to get this Squirrel take Peanuts out of your hand
My wife and I, feed several, in our yard, we love 😘 having them around, watching them interact together 😉. I enjoy, thinking 🤔, when little ones, are talking amongst themselves in another yard, one of ours get to say, "I know a guy" who gives good nuts 🥜!!!!!
You could've opened the window a little more to save him falling or nearly getting caught and most people seem to forget it's not Gid to give them salted nut but I've heard roasted they like. Cute little creatures for sure.
He acts just like the squirrels around my house. Eternally hungry, somewhat friendly but not too trusting most of the time. But….always adorable & smart. 😊🐿

Cute. We give em unsalted, roasted shelled peanuts. They love them. Never give squirrel salted nuts. Their little kidneys can't take salt and it poisons them.
Started like this few years ago, now we have 6 or 7 coming to visit daily. We leave the patio door open and they help themselves out of a 10Kg bag of monkey nuts. We could sit and watch them all day long.
So, the title of this is How to adopt a squirrel, and 1 of the first things he does is wait until IT'S FUCKIG HEAD IS IN A BAG AND IT'S BLIND TO HIM, and shoves his hand near it like that isn't going to make any wild animal shit the bed
Not to be recommended. It is a wild animal and should not be domesticated. Ensure you never feed a wild squirrel directly from your hand as their teeth are like razors and they can cut a nerve in your finger before you can blink and you will have reduced functiining for the rest of your life.
