One Day, I would like to be able to learn how to use my scraps of paper and waste less overall. It would be a great at-home recycling project for any and all ages. As someone who makes her own journals I think that imperfections in a journal make it more authentic, beautiful. Who cares if the pages are not perfectly simmetric? That's the beauty of handmade things.
Thank you for the video. I may be missing something though. Why did you rip up perfectly good paper to make paper? I'm not having a go. I'm genuinely asking as, when I used to make paper, it was recycling old paper ready for the bins. And can you please explain what the 'sizing' is? Is it glue or a special ingredient? Excuse my questioning. I'd like to get back into making recycled paper again. Thank you.
Idk if all that is necessary, now ik that u have to convert old paper that's already been used, but why using new and clean paper to make new and clean paper?
Maybe it's kinder and more helpful to say that there's a lever to release to extract the paper, and a very basic manual available online to download and print if you like, which shows the basic functions. It can all be a bit bewildering at first, just like word processors and computers once were to me, having spent many years manually typewriting, but keep practising and you'll learn to love journalling with it, as I still do with mine!
