Come Out Heavy Hunting started when two hunting obsessed cousins decided if they were going to talk about hunting in BC Canada 24/7 already maybe it could be a podcast, if you enjoy hunting podcasts check us out.
In addition to the podcast we hope to bring you some entertaining videos from our hunts around BC, we are no bullshit regular guys who grew up hunting in BC, hope you enjoy the content!
Devin congrats on the ram Nicely done you put in the sweat for it doing that grinder of a Zombie walk. It's awesome to see it on RU-vid. Take care Marty.!
@@comeoutheavyhunting8836 You took a longer contour around the back for the pack out, the creek bottom must have been nasty. looking back was it the right call ?
@@Gpenninga ya the creek on the way in was steep and rugged opted to battle brush on the way out and also see what the access was like that way as well since it was our first time in there
@@Gpenninga not totally sure we could've gotten out of that creek bottom if it was raining Steep, rocky with some routes. We likely would've made it, but it would've been a sketchy and exposed climb.
I notice you didn't use the load shelf to carry out the meat. Curious about why. You must've done an amazing job of packing the hide and meat into packs that were already full.
Guys guys guys! Why in earth would you blast the terrain all over the internet? I can pinpoint where you are way to easy. Leave something for people to figure out 🤬 There is already a comment asking for info on the quad trail. There once was this place called Joffre Lake near the lower mainland. People start posting this kinda crap and now it’s a totally disaster. Please for the love of the outdoors. Figure it out and quick trying to get some credit. If someone private messages you sure, help them out but stop with cheat sheets.
Long time listener of the podcast. Great work and nice to see another Canadian making content. One question though, I need more info on that quad trailer.
Great ram guys and awesome video guys. I would recommend you film in a horizontal format instead of vertical format. This would make them even better then they already are.
@@comeoutheavyhunting8836 no worries guys look forward to the next one. Just jealous you are able to Stone sheep hunt every year. I harvested my Stone out of Toad River in 2013. 👍
You did a great job. Beautiful Ram, Beautiful country. I just would like to know what caliber rifles and what bullet weight you guys were using. Being young you probably were using one of the short magnums. Probably 300 Winchester short mag. I'm an old-timer. I would have used a German 300 weatherby.
