She is by far the biggest showbusiness and hollywood star. No one of any other then stars is known now by new generation, and stars of past decade or two are slowly falling into a shadow. Marilyn is a face that still is literaly everywhere, young girls wearing tshirts and purses with her face, she is on posters like all over the world. She certainly deserves such a publication. And she would certainly love it too.
This looks just wonderful Joshua. I am a big fan of Marilyn's and your Dad certainly took the most interesting shots of her. He did capture the woman under the veil, but still maintained that beautiful presentation she made famous. I actually wanted to say "Hi' as well. We met at Joe Eula's in the 1980's in Hurley when I modeled with Ford and was dating Les Goldberg. I am just going through some photos of that time as I am writing a memoire and there is a chapter on Joe. There are even a few photos of you. What an era! So glad you are sharing your father's very special archive. xo
Hey Josh, good to half hear and see you with that mask on ...we talked some 9 years ago on the phone...Amsterdam guy. Feature on your dads pictures and Marilyn.. Great you are having fun with the Hasselblad. Best of luck. Michael Klinkhamer
Can't wait to see the photos you'll get with this back! And if you can, I would love to see what you get by using this back on an old Hasselblad 500 V serie! Congratulation on the acquisition of this beautiful piece of equipment! :)
I have this book. I love it. Marilyn's unique inner beauty is enhanced by the simplicity of the background and the soroundings. The photos of toddler you taking pictures of Marilyn in her Bus Stop outfit are special. I only realized the lever of restoration you needed to do when I saw this video. Incredible job.
Hi Joshua, The book is so beautiful and I agree your father made the most stunning photos ever of Marilyn. He seemed to capture something in her soul. I wonder if the book will ever be printed in a smaller version for easier storage ? I have a mass amount of books on Marilyn etc.. I have been a huge fan for years and appreciate the work you and your dad did for Marilyn. I think she and your dad would be proud also of the outstanding job your doing. Blessings and good thoughts . xxoo
This book was one of a kind! I was speechless when I recieved it. Your father's photos he took of Marilyn are my favorite of all time. Thank you for creating this book on their photographic journey together💌
Thanks for publishing this stunning and one of a kind book. Each picture taken by your father Milton Greene is a piece of art. Marilyn is so beautiful. I really hope you will publish soon the COMPLETE 50 sessions (like Bert Stern did), it doesn't matter if the pics are not restaured. That's okay. Thanks so much
