Great video fella, very stable and capable rig you've built. Nice to see & drive an Element straight axle UK2 Caiman, such a different experience from a portal axle build. Really makes you think about what line you need to take. Also a cracking paint job mate. 🤜🤛
I have the portal axle one rtr and the stock pinion gear is 15t and spur gear is 52t..ive installed the fusion pro..but it couldn't go as slow mo as i would like..then i changed the pinion gear to 13t but still couldn't do very slow mo..is that because of the stock transmitter u reckon?
@@rudykwan9196I am still using the stock transmitter, mine is the straight axle RTR so the gearing maybe slightly different but I wouldn’t think it would make much difference.
Nice! I also installed the Fusion Pro on my Phoenix RTR. Put in servos for the overdrive and dig. Changed the wheels, tires and put in some Desert Lizards.
Thanks, I love the Texan! If you fit the rear portal axle as it came in the box then the front and rear wheels go in opposite directions! I took the rear diff (and housing) from the stock Texan axle and put it in the new rear portal axle, it all fits ok. It works as long as you don’t mind having a plastic rear diff housing.
Hi mate, they’re very hard to get hold of! They are Axial parts and the part number is AX30445. If you find cpac97 channel on RU-vid he has a few videos on upgrading the US version of the Ravine - Danchee Ridgerock, at the end of the video he lists the part numbers. All you have to do then is search for the parts on Google but they’re like hen’s teeth!
Hey I’ve had quite a few camera drones I love them none as good as a mini 2 but on the throttle stick if you lean side to side it yoy can avoid stuff better and line yourself up better! I have a mode 2 controller so controls are backwards from yours but that’s just what I noticed from your video my good buddy that has a mini 2 also hasn’t got that down yet! You both have amazing videos! I loved it! I have a small group I started but lots of drone enthusiasts among other rc! Your welcome to join and share and get some more views and make new friends! Thanks for the tips, mine is the original Mini not the 2 so I think it has a different controller but I know what you mean about side movement with the throttle stick. I think the bottom line is, I am out of practice!, I will check out the group, Thanks.
