Thank you for your tour and feedback on the tools and accessories you have. Have you considered the CTS QuickClick hose system for your dust collection needs? They are super helpful. I have the anti-static version and it is borderline magic.
Enjoyed your workshop tour, you’ve got plenty of kit in there! I’ve got the same Titan bandsaw and replaced the blade with one from Tuffsaws, which made a massive difference. I found an easy fix for the fence and the saw cuts straight and square now, with no drifting. The “Bandsaw buddy” from Axminster (at least I think that’s what it’s called) also made a big difference to getting my bandsaw set up so that it’ll cut straight with the fence.
Excellent video! I am a Brit living in Canada and the North American workshop tour vids are frustrating. The shops look so perfect and sterile that it's a wonder any work gets done- or the workshop is a place to make stuff- for the workshop!
Hi Trev, the table looks really nice for your 2nd effort mate. The riving knife definitely shouldn't be catching like that, has it taken a knock ? Could be slightly bent or off center 🤔 looking forward to coffee table point 3.
How bad is the overspray? Thinking about doing our door frames with this but I don’t want any spray on adjacent walls or floors (will tape off of course, but still…) Shame on me, commented too early. You said it in the end. Thanks! I like your style.
Stick a stainless steel ruler underneath the bandsaw fence, that’ll fix it. You’ll have to cut the very end off it to fit but it’s a simple mod that works really well. Really glad you like the Saw!
Wow that's a lot of kit I'm a small space. Am very impressed with the organisation. My favourite bit of kit is your dust extraction trolley - might have a go building one myself. Especially love the auxiliary power outlet on the vacuum 👍👍👍
Finally, someone has made a video about this...! I'm the same, had looked for ages for one and got no real information - amazing really! I have already bought one but haven't used it yet. Plan is to use it for putting oil/varnish onto garden furniture, and to paint the interior of my garage. It sounds like I would benefit from doing a coat of breeze block filler first... would you suggest that? Also, did you have any luck with attaching a larger reservoir to it? Thanks again.
Glad you liked it! Crazy there wasn't a video before now! I don't feel comfortable recommending paint, I'm not an expert just figuring it out as I go myself! A bit of trial and error maybe? but its so easy to clean out if you use something a bit too thick 😊 and I completely forgot about the larger reservoir, so thanks for reminding me..! thanks for watching 😋👍🏻
Great review - Was thinking of buying one of these and after your review I feel much more confident to buy knowing a but more about what to expect. Thx 👍
