First time I see someone beaten by Cassetti. If you want a tip or two, never pick coin power boost and if you have no statuts team go for poise at the start, find Nebulizer (pride res for free poise) and fuse and upgrade Clear Mirror Calm Water ( two tier three + one tier two gifts ) it gives 15 offense levels on crit, that's +5 clash power. It also changes crit damage to 2x instead of 1.2x . You may fail to get CMCW but if you do get it, it's a free win for ANY team with some pride skills to proc Nebulizer.
This may be one of the many abandoned sites that were included as part of the Formidine Rift mystery which was a collaboration between Frontier and Drew Wager. Drew wrote two books that cover the mystery and what it reveals. One was titled Reclamation and the other was titled Premonition.
@@hazenkorakagaming Only Outis’ version, sadly - also, I believe it’s specifically the Corrosion Skill of Solemn Lament that has the additional animation on a full kill.
This event is made so that only the new Walpurgis units can easily get through it. I literally used a Solemn Yi Sang as a support and he single-handedly took out the whole event in 12 turns...
Hmm, that's a bit silly if they do that. It's pretty rare to pull any of these IDs. I only got one (and later, luckilly the HOD announcer) but not more than 1 walpurgis ID in 7k lunacy + free pulls. So estimated about 10 x10 pulls.
If all else fails.. haha You wont get stuck inside when the power goes out as you can zap the round thing by the door (charge it if you have security clearance, zap it with overcharge if you dont) and the door will open. Nice job, not an easy mission to complete 👍 o7
I like the map, but like all maps 32 v 32 it's extremely hard to finish. Not the worse, there are others like Yin Tao Shan that are almost impossible to finish on 32 v 32
A lot of times I use an E-breach on a terminal that isnt near anyone, then you can find anything including alarm- once alarm is off its much easier lol
Is E-Breaching a terminal an illegal action? Will you get aggro'ed or fined if they see you doing it? And if you did E-breach a terminal, are you performing an illegal action whilst using it? (I.e. do you have limited time) - because if so, that's a bit mad - you can't even look around when you are accessing a terminal.
@@hazenkorakagaming yes, yes, yes lol I like to use the L shaped building next to landing pad- there is terminal there about 50% of the time, and no guards. you want to look at mini-map while using E-breach the guards wont scan you unless they are within the red circle, once you lock in the target you want to use energy link overcharge on the terminal (the round silver plug looking thing) then the terminal will be fried, and guards wont care as long as they dont see you use E-breach or the hacked terminal- thats why you want to zap it lol:)
@@hazenkorakagaming after you get your info you want to fry it so the guards just think its broke and not hacked if you are in a settlement that is powered down, and you want to look up stuff in terminal you can energize it with energy tool (not overload), use the same round silver looking plug thingy lol
You failed because your target had a bouny. If they have a bounty and they see you scan them they are immediately hostile. All guards on your radar will alert and attack
Really? That's interesting. Yes, I made a mistake not switching scanning modes correctly. I didn't realise this was a thing though? But he had his back to me, so how could he detect I was scanning him?
@@hazenkorakagaming It looks like you were seen by another guard. Guards will react if you are in line of sight, regardless of the red circle. I think the red circle is your footstep sound range.
@oldvirgin Ah, footstep sound range, that's an excellent deduction, and makes sense! It was unfortunate that mission, I was convinced I was out of sight with the cargo behind me masking my position, and the guards were meant to be below the steps. Ah well. Makes more sense. I was basically trying to work out if I was failing because of some weird mechanic. I thought the red inner circle was the limit of detection, so I'm obviously wrong. Thank you.
If any NPC sees you with a tool in illegal mode then they will go hostile; the red ring in your radar only applies to whether you may get scanned or not by a guard.
@@hazenkorakagaming IF you are in their 180 degrees frontal arc of view, dont do bad stuff. That means sides or in front of them. Actually it's safer to do bad stuff when there is no line of sight or you are in their 90 degrees back arc. They can actually see quite far, so if they're facing you, and you see them on the radar - dont do bad stuff.
I've heard you can do this, but when I try this (by sneaking up to unspecting target) with overload on, all it did was alert them and they shot me and I failed the mission? Are there some restrictions on this? Can you not use them on guards? Perhaps shielded guards it won't work? Can you please explain. Not being able to do this means I cannot complete any covert missions or non-violent missions, they simply are impossible.
@jasperlit1345 Hmm, that's strange. I'm sure I tried this on a guard from behind them (they were not aware with no shields on), whilst crouching, and it had no effect, only to antagonise them, give me a fine and then left me with a failed mission. Will need to try again I guess. Thank you.
Always loved ED but the one thing I've never liked is the vehicle control. In the sense of increasing and reducing speed. It's not like most traditional space sims I've seen, least not for driving. When driving an SRV I feel like I'm always going way too fast when I want to be slow. It's very jumpy
It's much better if you turn off drive assist, I only learned this fairly recently. It is a bit sensitive to Gravity I guess. Depends on which moon or planet you are driving on.
that's pretty much the same thing as flipping the board and most of the time the mission are not there when you go back from the main. That said the mission rewards thing well that's F'd up .
Yeah once you negotiate the price you have to accept if you want that payout, It keeps commanders from negotiating a small increase and if that works then deciding to go for more, and then if that works going for maximum.. best way i can explain it lol
Makes sense, but not saying yes or no, but wanting to check the mission location etc should not impact a negotiation that has already happened successfully... That is definatly a bug in their logic
Got 70k fine> "now I have to go pay it off", yeah thats the best option, or you could be like me when I sometimes get so pissed off ill go to the mission giver and start shooting base and security forces until im either dead or notoriety is 10 LOL
Uh no lol.. Notoriety is a pointless mechanic, and it's a total pain to get rid off... I mean you have to sit afk with the game running for hours to clear it... Worst ever way to put you off ever wanting to play the game... I hate that mechanic
@jasperlit1345 Yeah... I've had a string of complete pain missions... I'm convinced the game hates me. I'm just producing another video where I share two more problematic missions lol...
Yeah, it's a shame they don't do anything about it. But you could try to take off, move out to frame shift and come back - this usually resets the instance
Haha poor pedestrians. They fly off like golfballs when you hit them. Got a laugh out of me when you hit the first one. Concerning losing shields on your srv, moving your distributor pips 4 shields and 2 engines while you are going in for a ram and shoot will help a lot. More pips to shields increases shield resistances by a LOT! You can move the pips to recharge the engine capacitor while turning around for another pass. That 4 pips to shields while being shot holds true for the ship combat as well.
Ah gotcha, yeah. Just trying new stuff. I did see there's very few videos about the adder, and wanted to try it :) It really doesn't work well as a combat ship though :)
@@hazenkorakagamingI was thinking engineered would make a big difference, maybe with Salvation Modified Plasmas? I think Ill mess with one, I have all the stuff just have to put it together lol
I love the unstable SCO. Almost get a heart attack when a star just show on the screen from nowhere! Oh... you can use the Arc Cutter on Intact Cargo Rack to release all the 6 containers, more materials do grab. I was thinking... can you land and squish scavengers?
i just try it, even on easy = not that easy x) . it's free now but buy it the price it ask , not worth it, Co-op is useless too. 21Go abusiv size for that kind of game. ( also i dont get it with the weapon upgrade , ( may cause the translation on french is sh*t. on the thing.)
I assume you need to beat the level to be able to get upgrades... Which is difficult, and not sure it's worth the time to try... It should be a bit more roguelite imo, so you get resource (a small amount) even for failing repeatedly.
@@hazenkorakagaming well , i finish it x) it took 5hours 21 min. :') on "Medium difficulty" i did the stage 2&3 on easy couple of times cause is way more easy than the 1st stage, for get enough points for all upgrade. my note is 6/20 on games 11/20 on this kind of games . yes it's nice graphic but most of the rest is bad , for me this game worth around 7-9 $ not more. ( also you where right, need beat stage for get acces to some upgrade.
@Hazel-Pandora Ah ok, well done. The levels do seem very long... And I suspected you need to beat a level to get credits, which is kind of annoying seeing as the levels are so long... I'll have another go again later, I guess I need more practice!
I initially used frags for my initial load out and it's cool and all but just does not have enough ammo for HCZs or prolonged stays in the HazRes. I went ahead and swapped to two medium efficient thermal vent beams with the 4 larges being overcharged autoloader with one corrosive. That seemed to do the trick. No real temperature issues to speak of, tears up enemies pretty quick and quite fun to boot.
Actually, no, I haven't. I think it might be valid if you don't immediately receive a bounty for killing them, might be worth doing then. But either way, it's a really small bounty and hardly worth the time.
Yeah it could use a buff because the amount you get for offing them is pretty pitiful for the effort. Scanning corpses at anarchy settlements is the only time I ever get any bounties from scanning and those are most of the time 10x more than what scavengers are.
I bought one while it was still in access and while it looks very cool, I find that I actually don’t particularly like it. I seem to keep going back to my Krait Mk2 which I find to be a far superior ship.
The way I find the G4 mats from geological activity is I check the contacts screen, you want to look for "Needle Crystals" they will be G4, also some Brain Tree planets have Tellurium, you want to look for "Pholium Excretions" those will be the G4, but the best place is where you went> Hip 36601 👍
@@hazenkorakagaming Yeah the Scarab SRV is a very good scanning tool for a settlement, or a general area on a planet's surface. You can be over 1 km outside settlement and scan each occupant to see who they are (they are always in alphabetical order in contacts if looking for a specific target). The landscape scanner or whatever its called, has a different pattern for each type of signal, so you can tell which signals are metallic meteorites, outcrops etc before getting close enough to use contacts.
When you were blowing up your first find, you had it in the optimal zone, but then proceeded to overcharge the rock, leaving you with way less profit. Also if you overdo it, you can go into contacts and disarm one or two
Pick a grade 3 Shield with Enhanced low power and pump it with some Shield Boosters, more shield with by less energy and mass. Drop the second SRV, you can synth repairs and fuel really cheap. Pick a hull repair limpet controler. You can synth limpets too, don't need to carry them all the time... just make some when you need. AFM is really a thing to have, but if you play safe probably will never use. Limpets, AFM and cargo bay can be turned OFF by default and turn on when needed. For thermal management... just use EDSY to see how it goes. It's fun scooping while jumping.
Good tips, I've never tried repair limpets, and good idea dropping second SRV, I forgot about synthesizing repairs, I always forget to do that. I didn't know you can make limpets either, so that's a great tip, thank you!
Hello Hazen 😁 I have answers and questions lol Do you have Guardian FSD Booster unlocked? Do you want to take 2 SRV's and be able to repair modules and hull when you are out there? As a general rule for exploration builds you want to use D rated Life Support and Sensors engineered for light weight if possible, the smallest A rated power plant that will get the job done (you may have to turn off some modules that aren't needed most of the time and turn them on when needed like cargo scoop, SRV, AFMU etc). You wont need module or hull reinforcements out there. The Asp is a great ship, but the optional internal space isn't ideal, and you have to make some choices on what you can bring with you, Ideally you want DSS, SRV, at least 1 AFMU, largest fuel scoop that will fit. A class 4 SRV bay is lighter than 2 class 2 SRV bays, and you really want to save your class 5 optional internal slot on the ASP for Guardian FSD booster (gives +10.5 ly), so this puts you at 1 SRV max I see you have like 4 billion creds, so you can buy what you might need, I suggest a Krait Phantom, so you can bring 2 SRV's, repair limpet, and 2 AFMU's (so they can repair each other if needed). If you don't have the Guardian FSD Booster unlocked I could help you if you want, you could jump on my carrier and we could go out there and get what you need to unlock it. Oh are you on discord? I can share a build of the Asp for exploration or any other ship :) o7
I don't have the Guardian FSD booster unlocked, that was at the end of the video, I'm guessing I need to do that. 2 SRVS I kind of thought would be handy, as they often get damaged and run out of fuel, so some redundancy I thought would be good - especially on really long explorations. Ditching one bay doesn't save much mass though. I have a Krait Phantom, (I bought one recently) but I do not have the mats to be able to engineer a Pre-engineered FSD - I need like lots of Tellurium, which I will need to mine again in the SRV... that's terribly boring and takes hours (I've done if before - see on my previous videos about the best FSD at that time). Hah, thanks for the offer, but no need for the carrier. I'm trying to get as much jump range so I can get the courage to try a trip to Sagitarrius A* :) I use discord, sure, but not often, I mostly have it turned off and don't use it much. I might be able to save some decent mass by downsizing the power core? Class A might not be needed and I have a lot of spare power left over now I've ditched the weapons.
@@hazenkorakagaming You can use AX flak cannon to free the mats and use collectors to pick them up for you now, they upgraded the collectors a few updates ago.
Oh? I mistakenly thought it was a larger class FSD, that's why they are better for exploration, but I'm wrong? So why are they better than the ASP? Is it less mass or something? Ideally, I would like a second one, as I don't like butchering ships to fit new ones, but I guess, it will save a lot of time.
@@hazenkorakagaming Not sure about the mass, but it has the 3rd best jump range in game (#1 is Anaconda but its big and slow, #2 is Diamondback Explorer but it takes longer to fuel scoop and has less internal space than ASP). The ASP will work, you just cant bring all that you may need out there, Phantom is the best explorer IMHO, mine is totally engineered and I get like 65ly, but I didn't go for total range, I can boost up to 591 every 5 seconds lol So I have heavier Power Distributor and Thrusters to achieve that.
I skimmed through the video so sorry if I missed anything you already commented on, but generally for an exploration ship. You want to D rate the life support, sensors, power distributor, and thrusters. For the power plant keep it A rated but try and find the lowest size that can still power things, so a grade 3 or 4 power plant with some engineering will save weight. Also might as well go A rated for the fuel scoop, drop the extra fuel tank, and lower your shields to the lowest D rated version you can put on (you only need it to absorb a crash landing or two, it'll still do the job). Finally get yourself a FSD booster, a class 5 will add a flat 10.5 LY to your jump range
The ground threat level is completly not to be trusted. When fighting in the SRV, full PIPs to sys, rest to weapons. ENG not important if you are not flying - it will have less power and will be easier to control. I see you started using AspX for ground missions - i prefer DBX, because it's smaller and easier to land and ib use the middle places hardpoint for dumpfire missiles to kill initial spawn of guards.
I'm using it because that was what I was in. If I usually want to do salvage sites, I'll use a viper with missiles. It's just what I was in at the time (I was exploring).
