Hi, my hubby and I are going on our first ever cruise in a few weeks from Copenhagen around the Norwegian fjords and have just been assigned this very cabin!! You made your film when you had just “moved in”. Can you tell me please what it was like for noise, being so close to the lift and directly under the buffet and restaurant. Many thanks
It was very quiet we were surprised. Here is a review of our cruise at this link deestimes.com/2024/07/24/living-the-dream-year-3-day-356-day-21-of-28-day-european-vacation-day-19-of-18-night-northern-europe-cruise-on-msc-euribia-disembarking-at-le-havre-france-le-havre-france-hilton-garden-inn-r/
I can't remember them being a problem. I even asked my husband, and he doesn't remember any issues either. We haven't been staying here lately. I think they may have discontinued the park and cruise rate.
Thank you for taking the time to do this video. It is so absolutely thorough and detailed and I really appreciate it. You covered every angle of the room, bathroom and balcony so it felt like I was walking through the room myself. I truly hope the hotel has been refurbished now, a year later, because we are staying there this weekend for Mother's Day. We are trying to get upgraded to a suite, and I hope it ends up being worth it because these rooms are expensive whether points or money! So again, thank you for the "warning" and I hope we get something much cleaner and much better...
Thanks for sharing your review! It was helpful to see the room since I will be staying on the same floor and vacationing on a ship for the first time 😮 😱 lol
Glad it was helpful! Have a great time. You can see every day of our cruise on Independence here. The daily blog starts after the ship stats. deestimes.com/independence-of-the-seas/
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this video as we were thinking of booking here when we visit the space center. Would you say the two beds are twin size or smaller? I have two teens and thought this could be a great room if the beds weren't meant for little ones. Thanks!
The beds are normal twin beds. Since I posted this video, I think this hotel no longer offers parking. I am not sure about the shuttle service. I would call the hotel and check.

The rooms that don't have balconies are way better. I stopped picking them altogether. The deluxe rooms are the way to go. I'll admit I have never used more then 50000 Hilton points for this hotel.
Hello, I just wanted to see an actual hotel Patron of the hotel as I have booked it for us for our cruise going on Carnival this year. Usually do Royal & Disney but branching out to try all of the Cruise Brands to see which one we like best. Started cruising in 2010 & Disney was our first. Wanted more space for my family hotel wise & we have a special needs child. I wanted to feel somewhat like home away from home with my daughter having her own room. I like how you showed the outside area, the parking lot and pool area. I wished you'd shown the hadicapped parking like how many spaces. Also, what else is nearby besides other hotels. Are there any stores/restaurants within walking distance? You mentioned you rented a car. The pricing is for your entire stay or is that per day? Do you know if there are car rental companies that have cruise pricing that's similar to cruise parking at the hotel? Sorry for long comment. I just want to be better prepared with traveling with our special needs daughter. First time going to Cape Canaveral. Last cruise before covid we got stranded for over an hour when we were promised to be picked up for return to airport. Overall, I mentioned to my hubby that we might rent a vehicle to avoid that happening again but the car rentals have gone up per day in pricing & we wouldn't be driving so idk as of yet unless we get a really great deal. I appreciate this video, It was really helpful & we will be staying there soon. 🙂Ps... I forgot to ask if the hotel offers shuttle to Port for cruises, as well as handicapped shuttle bus with lift or ramp, f so, do u know how much. I will call tomorrow at the hotel for that info as well.
There is not much within walking distance from this hotel. We did walk up to a pizza restaurant and McDonalds one time. This may be difficult with a handicap though. Mainly there is hotels around this hotel. We did not rent a car but drove from Kentucky down. I would check out using Uber from the airport. I did hear that this hotel does not have the extended parking any longer. We paid $308.00 in January 2023 for the room and the parking. We are going on a cruise out of Port Canaveral in December 2023 and are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Cocoa Beach Oceanfront because they have extended parking for our vehicle.
Why do so many cruise ships use flimsy shower curtains instead of glass shower doors? Its not like they don’t make enough money from all the passengers.
In our experience only the older ships have shower curtains, but yes - I hate them. They are disgusting!! Here is a link to 19 different balcony stateroom videos on different ships if interested deestimes.com/stateroom-videos/

I was there at about the same time as you. I was put into one of the remodeled rooms, they are much nicer than there. We stayed in one of the rooms like you had August of last year, but the remodeled rooms are so much brighter.
Do you think your other room was the way it was because it was a complimentary casino room? We are booked on deck 8 in December. Should we change our room?
I'm not sure! I have thought that occasionally. Did you look at my video of that room. In some essence, that balcony was better with the roof. I don't think I was prepared for an older ship, but I got used to it. Also, our stateroom attendant was better for this room. They make a big difference. I have not been on an older ship in years. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XLaWmeQPzRw.html It is not the deck, deck 8 was nice. I am working on getting our 21 day daily blog together for that trip. It is only on fb now. If you look here in a week it will be there under Radiance of the Seas. deestimes.com/
Very thorough review, thank you. Well spoken. Seems Royal Caribbean may be better than MSC, which seems a bit ghetto. No tissues or sheets? Very strange. It leads me to believe they may be cutting corners, and then you have to think, well where else are they cutting corners you don't know about? I would avoid that ship, it seems dumpy.
It actually has been really really nice. We find places that are not that crowded. It is nice to be around all ages. We are on the MSC Meraviglia next week.
I am not sure what category 3 means. I am going to try and find out though. These cruise companies assign categories to all their cabins for pricing purposes. The cabin prices are based on location, how many sleep in the cabin, and type of cabin.
We are diamond plus on Royal. I am saying that so you realize we really like Royal. I think that MSC is comparable to Royal and they are definitely the competition. I like both cruise lines there are good and bad on both. Just like anything. deestimes.com/2019/11/09/msc-meraviglia-positive-and-negative-thoughts-after-10-days-on-board/
@Dolores Tremper Thanks I usually go on Royal as well and have my first MSC cruise coming up so I just wanted to know if it was going to be similar because of some of the stories I've heard about MSC. Thanks for your reply.
