Aircraft landings have always fascinated me more than any take off. A take off you can understand, but landing those 160+ ton beasts is a different story. It's actually a controlled crash! 😮

What I find the most interesting about this video is that amid all the complicated controls, switches, knobs, and buttons, there's a single Post-It note that probably has the most important information about the flight stuck right smack in the middle of the entire console. 7762.
I only flew on a 747 once. It was from LAX to Okinawa with a stop in Anchorage back in the 1980's. I'll never forget that flight. Flying Tigers took us troops to the island. Back then folks could smoke cigarettes on aircraft, (and I was a smoker back then) and the cigarette smoke was so thick in that giant plane I couldn't even stomach to light one up. Wish I could travel on the Princess of the Skies today.
