@lowendbigt I cut the middle out of the passenger section..Welded the end cap back on the passanger side after I cut the 14 1/2 inches out..put the upholstery back on and sowed up the side and was done..Now both back seats fold up and down and it looks like it came like that
@DBOOKIN208 not much honestly..180 amp alt 2 extra agms in the tool box 950CCA..Also a external voltage regulator on a external charging circuit not controlled by the ECU
Yessur that's decent , i got Sondqubed Q1-6000 amp it's rated 10000watt 1ohm at 19Volts , Lmfao 🤣 . So we gonna run it .25ohms on two D1 18s 14volt bank charging at 16.5V 🤣🤣🤣😳😳😳💥💥🔥
@DBOOKIN208 no it's a trinity audio M series 18"..I put a carbon fiber dust cap on it cause the logo was coning off original dustcap..Expoyed the cone and the white stitching on the surround I just made black with a sharpie..LOVE THESE SUBS!! Definitely made a good difference in performance too in my ears opinion anyway lol
@DBOOKIN208 thanks bro I appreciate that!! I'm trying for sure!!MT amps are capable of giving out more power..But I think that's about the safest spot I'm at lol..Clamping 385- 400 amps on music right there..My amps are not the most efficient so im somewhere around 3k ish I think..Sub is 2k rms 6k peak
@DBOOKIN208 yes they do!! Love 18s!! I have a guy wanting me to recone a 30 inch clarion for him right now!! But I can find cones and surrounds that big anywhere!! Would love to recone that bad boy though!!
@DBOOKIN208 thanks bro!! I keep pushing it a little more and a little more and it just takes everything I'm throwing at it!! Definitely giving it way over rates power!! The trinity M series subs are bad ass!!!..
As much power and sub as you have, damn shame you don't have room for more port area, Garuntee you'd have twice the output. Def slamming tho, I'd love to hear it in person
@MattGuynn yes!! Love 18s!!All u need is a single 18 and your good to go!!Thanks bro!! I appreciate that!! My build has finally got to where I'm happy with it for sure
@DBOOKIN208 I have not clamped it again..I did with one amp at .5 ohm and was pulling 350-385 amps of current on music!!That's alot of current draw lol
@DBOOKIN208 I will look tomorrow for some 17Hz to 25Hz stuff..was mounting my amps better today..The screws where ripping out of my ghetto amp rack I made lol..had to fix that...And that's with rubber feet on the screws that where on each leg of the screws ripped out..Crazy...I would of never expected that
@DBOOKIN208 yeah clean signal no bass boost no loudness none of that no bass boost on amp either...Phone sucks balls that I recorded with..It's a Google pixel 6 pro..My old phone..Cause my new phone won't play music and record at the same time..New phone is a Samsung s23+
@linosa4569 The way your wanting to do is called gain matching and I've had my set up like that as well..The way I have them now is called strapping..One amp is the master and the other amp is the slave..If your amps have a master and a slave then u can strap them..Make sure both amps your using are the exactly the same..If your going to gain matching use a oscilloscope to get both your amps set as close as possible to exactly the same..If strapping u only have to worry about adjusting the master amplifier as it controls all the settings on the slave amplifier
@@annihilationindustries1990 I have only built 1 custom 18"..The JL W7 with the skar 18" evl basket..The trinity has a bigger motor at 62 pounds compared to the 54 pound custom built by me...the trinity has a half inch more excursion both ways and a higher rms and peak rating....The trinity is a while different beast of a subwoofer...While my custom sounded good in there the trinity sounds amazing
@DBOOKIN208 thanks bro!! Yeah I just tested them out and wow!! Definitely worth getting 2 and strapping them..I run at 2 ohm now instead of .5..Voltage at idel is 13.1 with heavy bass when it was 12.1 12.2 at .5..way less stress on my electrical..Way less stress on amps cause I'm running higher impedance..Plus my amps have way more control over the sub..And still have a bunch of more power!! Just need to set my amps in a bit
I have 2 EVL-18 in my home Set up..This is one of them..I have a trinity audio TAS-M18 in my truck now..On a precision power ice7000.1 at .5 final ohm load
@thomaswalton9089 great perchance u can't go wrong..The build quality is top notch and man they perform!!! I'm floating stuff with this single 18!!! Also giving it 3k rms and it has no problems taking the power!!!
@thomaswalton9089 yes sir always happy to help..I'm very happy and glad I took a chance with the trinity audio M series..Hope u get one soon will look forward to seeing your videos!
@DBOOKIN208 got it off fb market place for 20 bucks..Easy fix I already had some capacitors from a hifonics brutis amplifier..Took about 30 min and now it even gets a little more headroom...Orginal capacitor was 50v 2200uf and new capacitor is 80v 2200uf
I had this amp on 4 soundqubed hds2.108 8s at .5 ohms. Was a great amp, sold it a few years ago and it's still going in my buddies truck. Only bad part of this amp is angled power inputs and the crappy amp mount tabs, overall worth it tho, ran nice and cool at .5
@erik120719 yeah I agree I've been running it for a little bit and it don't even get warm!!I'm impressed with this amplifier so far for sure...I want to get one more and strap them honestly!!! Not for more power but so it will be less of a strain on my electrical..
@@johnoates3326 ru-vid.comNKttAjwII2A?si=eerFJD8a-v-zulmU Yes the GP adapter made it ALOT easier to flat mount the amp. I had dual runs of 3/0 and a single 300a alt back then with 2 big standard wet cell batteries, amp wasn't really bad about drawing a shot ton of amperage either.
@@johnoates3326 do you know how much board area you have? What's the measurement of your port? Not worried about length. Worried about width by height. Most boxes don't have near enough Port area. They tell you the "rule " of 15 cubic inches per foot and that's bull. I'm running 2.5 cubes and 52 cubic inches of port area @ 31hz. Avatar wanted 2 cubes and 30sqin port area, sub sounded like shit in recommend size box. Try one of the ioxus super caps, got a pair of em for $300 b stock thru big Jeff audio. Only hooked 1 up so far and has kept my lowest volt drops 1 volt higher than it was dropping before.
@DBOOKIN208 yep! I'm about to put a better amp on it today and I switched off the dust cap for a carbon fiber one..Happy to finally go back to a half bridge amp..The full bridge, I never thought sounded good and clean
@@DBOOKIN208 I just put that precision power in at .5 ohm final load... Trinity audio TAS-M18 dual 1 ohm parallel wiring.. Gain set at 3v all other amp settings at zero and bass knob at half and it's got that Trinity audio 18 jumping out the box!!! Just uploaded a video of it!
