So what’s the story? It all started way back when Right Said Fred were too sexy for their shirts and Downhill wasn’t even part of the World Cup. Yep, way back in 1991 Rex and Marilyn Trimnell got things started with X-Lite UK.
After designing and manufacturing the world’s first twin crown bicycle fork, Rex created a perfectly pink spray to clean his kit. To make a long story short, Rex’s cleaner was the best thing since sliced bread, and it wasn’t long before word got out and Muc-Off was born.
Fast-forward to today and Muc-Off is now the go-to brand for top riders and racers from the likes of Ineos Grenadiers to Scott Redding.
Did a wheel today. Changed to Shrader valve. China man Velo. The original taoe from Intense was like plastic trying to break. Looks to be same stuff. We'll see. Have Schrader valves from Stan's, it leaked. Maybe now it would hold.
Using tubeless rims, but I installed tubes anyway, had a puncture on the side wall, cut so big, no sealant would've fixed that, but I used a patch to do a little fix, so that I could ride to the nearest bike shop and get a new tire and was able, got a new tire and rode back to the bike trail and replace the tire, mind you, I also had replaced the tube before, when I did the quick fix on the tire with the big sidewall cut. Anyway, can you imagine "how", I would've fixed that w/o a pare tube and able to find a bike shop and buy a clincher tire? Because we know that hardly, hardly, any shop has 'em tubeless tires, not o mention they're so expensive......but 2nd time in 30 years of riding, not bad. It would've been with a tubeless.
That's an awesome product but I'm pretty sure Makita make a portable, battery powered pressure washer with a water tank and all the accessories. Might want to rethink the "worlds first" part?
Bruh just pull chain, clean that separate, use mucoff wash or isopropyl to get rid of chainsplash on the frame, whichever is safer for your paint. Use a sponge for the frame cleaning part so you dont scratch paint.
hi guys, when I brush my bike, theres a lot of splash from the dirty chian onto my frame. It's pratically impossible to remove after. How tf am I supposed to do
Lol it's NEVER that easy. I'm trying to remove muk off adhesive right now and have used Goo gon 91% alcohol 3M adhesive remover natural rubber eraser Non of it just wipes off especially if you have had it on a tire for longer than a year. I'm going to try mineral spirt next.
How is it for a cassette getting thicker oil gunk out think the dust settled into the cain oil with sitting and use break cleaner for everything on the car so was just wondering if would work as have few tins of this stuff
Really really smart idea to use a pressure washer on the chain!! Jesus Christ you people have zero business cleaning a bike. You just forced water past the O/X rings and into the rollers. That chain will be destroyed in 1,000 miles.
