At the time, in that video those are 1.9 DJX beadlocks/brass inner rings, with 1.9 stock traxas trx4 tires, and since then I've changed the springs to a set off my old H.P.I wheely king.
Yeah it's the best fit for me. lots of power in snow, sand and mud, and is pretty slow on rocks, With that size motor, it takes a little bit to get the mesh right, (it's a tight squeeze using 13t pinion).
Just added a tiny bend to the existing one and lengthened the links a little bit to make up the length difference. It didn't need much. The 2300kv is shorter than the 1800kv, making it easy to fit.
@@slomorc718 Thanks man, I can see the difference it made! I'm trying out a Robinson Racing 12t w a sleeve and a HW Fusion 1800kV .. we'll see how it goes tomorrow
Dog bone come loose is known issue in sledge, i think traxxas forgot to add the o ring inside the drive cups, or the dog bones is not long enough.. but nothing broken in this video..
Thank you!! It does look so cool and I'd like to be able make "better" videos in the future, but driving and trying to record is harder than I thought.
@@slomorc718 Thanks for the response. I picked up Indigo blue to try on mine. Thought about pre heating the plastic before dipping it to help it take the color
@@DRockDreamin It takes a while for it to take the color and the water needs to be at a light boil on a burner for the color to really take. I tried pouring boiling water in a pot with the dye and it looked light purple. I decided to put the plastic in the boiling boil water and it worked well for me. I've haven't had an issue with the plastic from this process.
