Absoloutley fantastic interview!! I could listen to Mr. Halford talk for hours. Just saw Priest at the weekend and they tore the roof off the place as always. Rock Hard, Ride Free, FOREVER ⚡️⚡️⚡️
When you start up your new fresh lineup of guys maybe you should call it "Jeff Pilson's Foreigner" so people know who you are. If you're all so famous from past projects you should remind people who you are and make it on your own with your new music and excellence, not just using the "Foreigner" name to ride on.
I met Kerry King when he stopped by a music store in Westminster Colorado probably about 16 yrs ago. He holds the guitar lower then Jimmy page. he was a cool dude at the store. Have a great day
Another insightful interview to hear the challenges and triumphs P.O.D. has faced, providing a deep dive into the life and career of one of its leading members
Mr. Lips is 100% RIGHT Anne; the 1990s were a hard &, frankly, more than crappy time for REAL Heavy Metal music, and despite such horrible circumstances for him & his band #Anvil, they have rightfully persevered & today they’re FINALLY getting the recognition they have desperately deserved, which is impressive considering the fact that after making a modest splash with their aptly titled album “Metal on Metal” & a more than memorable appearance at a huge festival back in the early 1980s they were almost never heard from again for many years 🤘 💿 🎼 🎵 🎶 🎸 🤘 👄
God Praise The guys in P.O.D. For keeping up with the type of Positive Energy that their constantly EPIC Rock music is renowned for in their over 30 years of existence, and quite possibly their most recent album could be their best since “The Fundamental Elements of Southtown” & “Satellite”💿 🎵 🎶 🎼
Another great interview by Anne Erickson, and I so looking forward to seeing a lot more interviews as 2024 is going to be a great year of concerts to see. Awesome Job, Anne!!
It is the diversity Priest create within their music catalogue that has made them my favourite band since I was 13 and first heard Killing Machine. This also highlights the complete and utter musical talent within this band throughout their history. They have been with me throughout my life and I just love them! The new album is another fantastic piece of work and gets better with each play, they just keep delivering!
I wish you would tour, Im so happy to hear you are doing well, you have always been one of my favorites add you really helped me out in my younger years. I love all your music, old and new , so much talented your music makes me happy. I love the idea of Vinyl or Spotify
I lucked out seeing Rik Emmett play at the riverfront in Windsor. He was sold out on a Friday, so I could only get Saturday tickets. Rain canceled Friday night's show, so he ended up staying to play the next night. $10 to see Rik Emmett.., the best $10 spent!
That’s actually a really great description of what #JudasPriest’s new album 💿 😌 👍 😊 sounds like Anne because, to be more than honest, “Invincible Shield” has that EPIC combination of the modern sound with hints of “Killing Machine”, Sin After Sin”, “Sad Wings of Destiny” & “Stained Class” all merged into 1 Fantastic Metal classic 🪽 🛡️
@@AudioInkRadio like always you deliver a great interview with great guests. I would love to hear Amy & yourself or Tarja & yourself talking music, that would be fun.
Rik is TRULY a great Canadian Rock legend for sure Anne, and it’s more than good to hear that he’s got exactly what he truly deserves because his own solo music is equally as amazing as his days with #Triumph, especially his 1st solo single which is called “Saved By Love” 💕 💗 ❤️ 🤩😻 🥲 🎵 🎶 🎼 😊 👍 😌 Also satisfying, as I’m about to find out now, is his whole fascination with the 1 & only #TaylorSwift &, you don’t need to worry, No one has the right to judge her for what she’s been doing these days, not even me
Greetings Anne. I wanted to mention an Aussie band called Mystic Tea Party, led by person named Blume whose situation as a human being something that might fit well into the context of your interest of women in the music business. Your recent podcast with Brittany Howard and my recently stumbling across a Blume YTube video spurred my outreach. Here is the video that prompted the connection. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V7gUADQsO0w.htmlsi=0mo1L_fno5BL9B33 Perhaps it can provide some informative and interesting content creation. Regards
Great interview, Respect Edsel He truly brings Wayne alive in ways no one ever could do or imagine from the sound to his performance and that look is goosebump worthy for sure really remarkable.
Atheists, I'm not religious, but you should familiarize yourself with the Division of Perceptual Studies (DOPS) at the University of Virginia's MEDICAL school. They've been studying children with past life memories, near death experiences and other paranormal phenomenon for over 50 years, and they have thousands of documented cases. In fact, they have thousands of solved cases alone regarding children with past life memories. In other words, when a case is "solved", they have ruled out the child receiving the information from normal means (the child has memories and emotions from his or her previous carnation), and the information in these solved cases is so good that they are able to verify the previous personality in the majority of them. In fact, the scientists at DOPS are now so confident in their findings, that I heard one claim the onus is now on atheists in the scientific community to disprove the notion that our conscious lives beyond after physical death (because they have a ton of evidence that it does). Not being religious, I started reading theses books (e.g. Jim Tucker, Ian Stevenson, et al.), watching/listening to these scientists' research in RU-vid videos, and I now err on the opinion that our consciousness does in fact live on. The evidence is actually quite overwhelming. Check out DOPS. Seriously. med.virginia.edu/perceptual-studies/publications/
Staind caught my attention when I was about 14 years old with Home from Dysfunction. It has remained my favorite song. Seen them three times live. Great seeing them back, and glad to see Aaron outspoken (or even talking at all) on stages now. Time heals wounds, and now the band is back too. God bless guys!
At the beginning of this year Mark said that the Creed reunion for 2024 was difficult and it just happened, now I don't know if I believe him with a new Creed album, maybe he doesn't say anything because both he and Scott are promoting their albums and it would divert the Attention, also a few years ago he said that he had some songs saved from Creed so if he has them it wouldn't take the time he says
