Wow! What a find! I was the Chief Engineer of the home base project, and planned and engineered the system up to the satellite link. I had lost my copy of this ages ago. Boy, does this bring back memories.
Not really true, and definitely not 17% conservation lands in northern Ethiopia. This country deserves a greater global spotlight for long term conservation.
8 years from now a 17 year old male from a Science class comes to watch this video over and over again Shout out to Mrs. Boeran From Heritage High in Lynchburg Virginia and this Beat is so good 😊
Ma'am this video of kids made me cry. As an Ethiopian living in Sweden I was just like those kids. They are so happy and joyful even if they living in poverty. One day they will live have good quality of life as Europians or Americans. I'm 16 years old and I'm studying to contribute to my country. They kids deserve more, the world is unfair! But I guess it requires hardwork. Thanks for apploading this video, this brought back some memories I had in Ethiopia before I left to Sweden when I was 8. ❤❤
If you check out www.treefoundation.org, you will see that we publish and distribute books in Amharic to rural children in Ethiopia. If you are able to donate through Paypal to this worthy cause, we are always so grateful to give these children some extra resources since they literally have zero books in school or at home!

Since I first saw the documentary on NatGeo many years ago, I have been fascinated with the idea of spending several days living and exploring 150 feet above the forest floor! What a thrill that must have been!
Wow that looked like fun Dr. Lowman! I go on those kinds of adventures with my parents! A couple of years ago, I went to a rainforest in Thailand! And there was one problem, there was this branch hanging like a gymnastics bar and my dad said to hang on there for a picture. So, I said yes and I hung up. A couple of days later my fingers had an infection! By the way I love spending time on your channel watching the awesome adventures!!
Wow Meg thanks to your adventures, in my school we are learning about you and we are doing a rainforest presentation I made a skit about you and your brother Ed. We also published an essay about you and the book “The Most Beautiful Roof in The World”. A big thank you to you! Your studies might save future ecosystems. Thank you so much I learned so much from you. (please read this) My community is trying to clean out NewTown creek because a lot of biodiversity is gone because of pollution.
