I can understand that you are there to win and make money. However, to be extra clear, when the other guy asks if we should check it down, instead of being quiet (which can mean that you agree), just say what is on your mind and tell him "Just play your hand and bet if you want to as will I -(something in that line)- so that you are conveying your true intent. YOU CAN TAKE HIS MONEY, MUST NOT MESS HIS MIND OR EMOTIONS!!

With the KQhh hand... Yeah that sucks to see a hand you dominate... But i always think like what happens when he shows up with Aces... Or flops a Jack... Or diamonds. The worst tho maybe is you call and the board flops Ace high... Or 2-5-8 rainbow, etc. At the end of the day tho, you just gotta be like, "Well i only was in for $50...i could lose $50... Or i could lose $600 or whatever the 4B guy made it

I'm never folding 5/6. There's only one hand that beats you. If he has it then so be it
@mattbunker3982
@mattbunker3982 7 месяцев назад
I like the 5-6 fold. In the low-limit poker games I play in, very few people are 3-betting that river without a straight. So most of the time either you're beat or you're calling to get a chop. In the long run, I think that fold saves you money.
@bbobbis777

You busted the challenge. Lost 2k when your bankroll was only 1.5k. Go to work to get 500 dollars back which you couldn't afford to lose. That's would be real started from the bottom grind challenge.

My thoughts is that is was not a terrible fold. I have to say that I'm no near a great player but just want to share my thoughts. When the board gets checks around 5-ways to the river. There is not many hands that would 3-bet except the nuts. So there is not really many hands there that you beat there that make sense except 88s in some cases. But still I think that it's more likely that he would open and 3 bet with straights. So best case scenario, you chop, worst case scenario you lose the pot. But in the end I think both options make sense and it's a really tough spot.

telling us you lost $2k playing 2/5 takes the excitement out of the bankroll challenge at $1/2. You just casually lost $2k in 4 hours which is almost double your $1/2 bankroll.... Most of us only have a bankroll to play $1/2 so we can't relate to that haha. Just my input - love the vlogs and the way you explain hands. Subscribed!

It kinda does take the drama out of the challenge, your 1/2 bankroll is supposed to be the only money you have available to play poker, period. You would be better served to keep your extracurricular activities to yourself 😎

@@harrybpoker So I haven’t tried neither of them. I am currently studying poker to start my profitable poker career to later become professional. I want to start grinding poker but i don’t know should i start grinding micro low cash games or mtt tournaments. I think i like tournaments more. And one more question: what types of poker are professional grinding in the beginning? is it micro low cash games? mtt tournaments or something else? I am pretty new to this topic. Thanks for answering ;)

Good advice at the end. Another point I’ve found is important, is if it’s limping around and you’re in late position, call with anything that can make a straight or anything suited. Or really any two cards. Play the hell out of late position, basically. Very often I’ll end up hitting and getting paid. People make limping sound bad, but it’s an extremely cheap way to see the flop, and when you make your hand you can make a lot of money.
@JT-gi8rx
@JT-gi8rx 7 месяцев назад
I guess limping from early position is bad, as you’re likely going to get pushed off and lose your blind.
