I was in Mostar in 1997 as part of a team implementing the Dayton Peace Accords. It was very different then. But watching this has made me think about going back as a tourist.
It’s not in Pittsburgh but it’s a day trip worth taking: it’s renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece, Fallingwater,:which he designed for a prominent Pittsburgh family, the Kaufmanns
The Heinz History Museum is a must - especially for sports fans. Pittsburgh is Steelers Country, but the Pirates and Penguins also have some proud history. This museum does have a fee. And there is plenty of parking.
- except for the food in the back, the San Pedro market is almost exclusively a tourist spot. Locals shop in the surrounding Paraiso area. That is where you should have gone to see real Cusco markets. - The stones along the stream running down bsides Sacsayhuaman are about 2-2 1/2 years old. The reconstruction was done during the pandemic. I watched them doing it for months. - Inca Cola is available in lots of places in the US. It a Coca Cola Bottling Co. product. - the 12-angle stone is promoted solely for tourism along the street. There are lots of stones in the area with more angles, but they don't sit in front of souvenir shops. (By the way, some of the "Inca" walls you showed are actually modern facades.)
Most Seattle Dogs you'll come accross don't have that many veggies. Staple is usually the cut dog, cream cheese, and sauteed onions and that's about it. Mostly because that's what you'll get from the dog carts accross the city and they wont have a full range of veggies in their carts.
Great video, really helpful, I would like to know is it too tough for a person with Arthritis to walk along the walls? Does it require to climb up too many stairs?
I appreciate your channel, I got a lot of ideas for my Peru trip and am now planning a surprise visit for my wife here. Did you rent a car, if not how did you get around?
You guys should definitely visit the Croatian parts of Herzegovina, for example, Koćuša where they have a beautiful waterfall and a etno restaurant where the food is all locally sourced and they have great wine , waterfall Kravice witch is a popular tourist attraction and last but not least if you want to try the best lamb in the world restaurant “ Udovice “ … Mostar isn’t just the old bridge if you are interested in mountain climbing you can visit “ Velika Vlajina “ and do a quad tour with a beautiful view on the river of Neretva , visit “Quad safari Goranci “
All good except the misleading info Americans tend to repeat: are isn't Balkan and it isn't a Balkan culture at all. For real Balkan experience you'd be visiting Serbia or Bulgaria. Not5tice how architecture, history, folklore, music, dances, pretty much everything differs from Croatia.
Who hates gum??? Man! Abusive parents, or something? But...thanks for the Seattle tips. Gonna be visiting for the first time this August as we start our trip to explore Vancouver and the Canadian Rockies, too. Gonna start in Seattle...at the Gum Wall, for sure!
This is an informative video. Thank you for putting the video in an easy to understand format to follow. Both of you have pleasant voice and it is comfortable to listen to. Much appreciated! 👋👋👋
Great video, and actually I am enjoying all the videos of your Italian cities guides, but I have to slow down the speed to understand what is Michael saying as he talks so fast that for me is impossible to catch up! Just breathe! 🧘🏻♂️😮💨😊
We’re going next week first time to Venice! Found this so helpful! I’m vegetarian and my hubby and kids are not. I was getting nervous watching everyone else’s food reviews and couldn’t seem to find any options for me. I wrote all of your suggestions down! Thank you!
