This type of basket is brilliant. I’ve had three for 12 years and still going strong. One thing I dispute is putting the crocks in the bottom. The whole point of the deep bottom is that it acts as a reservoir. You don’t want it to drain!! Waterlogging is *never* a problem with hanging baskets in my experience, and I live in one of the wettest parts of the UK
@knappa22. I agree I bought 4 at the ideal home exhibition when they first appeared and they are still going strong. Yes, no need for crocks. I have sprayed mine green now as black was the only colour available when I got them.
@@Knappa22 any problems with opening the top tab without breaking it. Just got 4 of these for my wife today and no matter how easy I push the top tab has broken off of the 2 gates I tried to open
This is a video how not to plant up a hanging basket. You don't need stone in the bottom like this silly cow does. There is no-one else on RU-vid puts stone in even though a lot of idiots on here do plant them up wrong and the ones doing it wrong are supposed to be professionals.
