I bought the 2000X and it did not work well when I needed it for a tropical storm. It worked for about 1 1/2 hours fully charged! The solar panel takes way too long to charge especially when the sun is hidden behind clouds or during bad weather. What good is that? Definitely not worth buying.

You've got to rotate your food stores. Some things are okay past their expiration dates, most things, in fact. Water is really something that needs to be consumed earlier, though, because of chemicals leaching into the water. Also, anything with a high pH level, such as tomatoes or cranberries, should be eaten on a timely basis.
We're sorry to hear that your system is leaking, Gerald. Please give us a call at 1-800-304-4202 or email us at help@4patriots.com and we'd love to personally assist! As for the filters, you only need one to filter your water! You can, however, have up to 4 at a time for maximum flow rate!
Hi there! We're sorry about the confusion. F2 means that the fridge is cooling but the compressor is pulling more power than the battery can handle. To get rid of this error, leave the battery installed, turn off the fridge, connect the fridge to AC power, and power it back on. F2 may reappear but disappear after a few minutes of being connected to AC power. When disconnecting from AC power, make sure the fridge is set to ECO & L. If you still need assistance, please give us a call at 1-800-304-4202 or email us at help@4patriots.com and we'd love to help!
We love our Australian friends! Unfortunately, can only ship within the United States at this time. We're sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause.
How long does it take to charge, and how long would it run the fridge continuously, maybe it should have a fridge timer to only turn on when the fridge needs to run?
Through solar it takes 16 hours to charge with one 100w solar panel. This time is cut in half with each additional 100w solar panel! Through AC, it takes about 5 hours to fully charge.
The thought comes to mind that if you have to continually plug and unplug your fridge to and from the generator, you won't be able to sleep through the night without waking up every 2, 3, or maybe 4 hours for possibly days to come, such as after a hurricane for example (depending on when the electric company finally gets the power back on). That doesn't seem like a very good idea to me to constantly (every 2, 3, or 4 hours at the most) be on the watch all night long for plugging and unplugging the fridge, unless I have missed something. Even if you get the fridge cold, that would only last a small amount of time before you'd have to do the whole rigamarole again. Yes, it's better than losing all your fridge food, but still not the best option though for a situation where you may be without power for days.
I do have one of your generators by the way, but haven't had to experience the above situation that I described yet. It did seem to run a couple of fans for quite a while though, but haven't tested it out more than that yet.
We do understand your concern for sure, Sheryl. The fact of the matter is having no power for that long will truly change your lifestyle temporarily. When push comes to shove, that might be what you need to do. Otherwise, you can get up to 13 hours of constant power without cycling!
Thank you for that Survival Tip. I learned something new. How do you get to your refrigerator plug in an apartment? Can you alternate between your regular fridge and your floor freezer? I looked at solar panels and want to know what is the hottest outside temperature can they be used? What is the coldest temperature can they be used? I live in NY state and it can be 2 degrees Fahrenheit.
Unless you can pull your refrigerator out enough to be able to get to the plug to unplug it so that you can hook it up to the generator then I don't know. Also google says this about the temperature question: "High-quality solar panels are designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -40°F to +185°F. However, their efficiency decreases when they overheat or get too cold."
Sheryl has got you covered! Our panels can withstand freezing temperatures to heat waves! To answer your fridge question, it truly depends on the layout of your apartment. We'd love to help if you want to give us a call at 1-800-304-4202!
Typically oxygen machines don't require a whole lot of wattage! That means it can most likely keep it powered throughout the night with no issue! Do you know the exact wattage of it by chance?
Ok. Finally! Thanks. Got so frustrated with this. I moved and didn't have the instructions. Now how long does it last on battery? I'm off grid. I feed my dogs raw and I really need this so things don't spoil. Already had inside here..cause I didn't know how to work it properly
@4Patriots I had the battery on solar all day. At 8pm I put it in and watched video again and had it eco and at 12 degrees. Woke up at 630am and battery is dead just about. Was up to 28 degrees. Sucks cause I only have one battery
