Toy hauler all white in side... NO NO NO... This is why I went with an Alliance Valor toy hauler. Why do you want a trailer that's meant to get dirty inside and have it all white? DUMB! There isn't one thing in that trailer that's not white other than 2 drawers and the vanity in the bathroom.
Hey there! We have plenty of casual camping customers that haul motorcycles, golf carts, cars, or nothing at all and want a bright, residential feel when camping. That's why we offer a lighter wallboard. 😊 For those more adventurous, off road campers, we offer a grey wallboard color ilo white. You can choose navy blue or sage green lowers for your cabinets. The flooring is easy to clean or you can opt for aluminum extruded floors in your garage. Furniture is grey. Countertops are white, but are solid surface and super easy to wipe down. Thanks!
@@ow-my-achilles1106 not really. literally every other major brand has toy haulers with 2-4 slide out. I would love an all-aluminum camper with no garage.
The estimated base model weight for the 12' model is about 1,600 lbs and it is mid-size SUV towable. It's always good though, to check into the limits of your specific vehicle first and compare the specs of it to the specs of the toy hauler to make sure!
@@aluminumtoyhauler please check your website. Measurements are not listed ONLY for the 450 What is measurements from the bathroom wall to the ramp door?
@@KsAriuS If you click explore on a specific model, it will take you to the page for that model and show measurements of that floorplan. If you are looking at both, the image does not have measurements. We realize the other models have measurements on the page that shows all so we will work on that for the Plā 450. Appreciate the feedback! On the 2016, the bathroom wall to ramp door is 10'5".
Great video! I’m about to enter the ATC family and couldn’t help but notice the Euro recliners you are sitting in! That’s what I am looking for. Do you happen to know the brand and do you find them comfortable? Many thanks and best of luck!
Welcome, we are so excited to have you aboard! Those recliners are an option you can add to your build. You can purchase some from the parts department too! We're told they are pretty comfy. 🙂
I am looking REALLY hard at ATC, they seem to be one of the few manufacturers that are not producing rolling junk. Overall, I do like the layout of this camper, but the bathroom is a non-starter. I am 6'5, and that bath looks like it is made for someone 4'5".
Here's the shower specs for this model. 78.5" height. 36" width. 28" depth. We do have the Plā 700 series units that come with a more residential style bathroom. Have you looked at those by chance?
Great video! Just got a 4023 and am learning the best way to empty the tanks. I open the gray tank first just to check the connections and close it back once I don't see any leaks. I dump my black tank and use the blank tank flush until I stop seeing bad stuff (usually fill it up to 67% 3-5 times). Then I put approx. 5-10 gallons back into my black tank. Finally, I dump my gray tank. Not sure what I'll do when I start boondocking...
Thanks, hope this helps while you're out on the road with the 4023! Sounds like you have a pretty great system going. For boondocking, depending on how long you stay out, you can dump at certain gas stations or maybe look into a portable waste tank and macerator pump if you don't want to move. A quick google search will bring up some ideas. 👍
So what you are saying is essentially a Plā 700 2015 model but the in the Plā 450 specs. Is it because the 700s have a residential full bath and the 450s have a wetbath? Thanks!
Is it possible to lock the bed in a lower possition. I got a thinker mattress and it wont lock into place if i leave it on. I have to take it off to lock it up
Thanks so much for this. I have 35's with a 3" lift on my JK and based on this I now know it will work. I'm sure I will still pucker the first time I do it.
3:51 - he calls out exactly what is wrong with the existing manufacturers but 4 years ago. If people who bought new after covid started, maybe should have listened to this guy.
You guys should really consider putting the kitchen and bathroom a few inches further to the rear and making it a front queen setup with bedroom storage cabinets above. Might have to move front door back a couple inches too. Then you would have what I want to buy: a 1/2 ton towable toy hauler with a front bedroom! I would love to see that offer as a third floorplan option for this 450 class.
Hey Christofo, thanks for that feedback! We will make sure to let our website team look at that. As for A/Cs, the 2917 comes standard with 2 ducted A/Cs.
We recommend opting for the Energy Package 3. That will give you 800 watts of solar, 3,000 watt inverter, 60 amp charge controller, and 540 amp hours heated lithium battery power. 🙂
We already bought a PLA 450. We didn’t get to customize it, it was just the one they already had on order but we would like to upgrade to that package after the fact. Would that be possible?
The Energy Package 3000 utilizes different wire gauges and components so switching to it from an Energy Package 1 would be a lot of work. You can add more panels to your roof, though.
Hi there! Our toy haulers are come standard with the All Weather Protection Package, which includes a protective underbelly with radiant barrier, upgraded insulation, and 12V heat pads on water tanks and lines.
Hello - Thanks for the video! I see a Gen-Y Gooseneck 5th Wheel pin box replacement on this rig. Question on that - Are they now approved by ATC for their 5th wheel trailers? Last time I checked: "ATC's policy is not to make recommendations. Keep in mind that if you change an item and your trailer is damaged because of the item you changed it could affect your warranty." That is not a yes, so not approved for ATC frames. Looking for a "yes" or "no" from ATC please - Are they approved by you for your 5th wheels so as not to affect the warranty? Thanks.
