I have a problem. My speed brakes after landing and i was armed stuck at 100% and i cand disarm them on fbw a20n .i made 7 flight and in theblast flight showed up the problem
7 yr old video that i just stumbled on. I have been playing FS9 since 2004 and i knew how to program the gps but i never knew the autopilot would follow it. I mainly fly VFR but i am getting ready to go flight school so i am trying to fly actual arrivals. Like the real world pilot said this is a 5* video. Straight to the point. No lame ass music or going off and talking about stuff that does not pertain to the video. I definitely have to go watch his other videos on the GPS. I know this is this is FSX but the GPS on FS9 and X are virtually identical.
Hi Jack, great video.. Where do you land on the runway if you press the diamond above the horizon line? Whete do you land if you press approach switch after the diamond has fallen below the horizon line, Thanks..
I’m a year into MSFS but I wanted to check out FSX videos. I’m ashamed to say I never knew to look for the diamonds, I only knew to look for my autopilot hold turning off. I learned about the diamonds in MSFS.
Dude i see you made this video a few years back but thank you, thank you, thank you so much i don't know what i was doing wrong with the scenery not adding but its all good now.🙌
Anyone know if there is a way to manage the descent using GPS? I'm thinking more for runways without ILS where there is no glideslope to follow? Is there anything in the GPS that you can use to create a glideslope or do you kinda have to guess it using VS and making tweaks to match the PAPI's (which is how I'm bodging it at the moment) can GPS manage the climb/descent rate or is that outside of the scope of the FSX GPS?
Thank you Jack, made my first landing in FSX today after watching your video, came in a little to quick with some flare but quite chuffed, learning all the time
Autopilot is useful if you don’t connect joystick or game controller for any reason. Boeing 747 can do nice acrobatics with the autopilot, even little children can handle it, and they will be amazed. The plane is safe, doesn’t try to crash, if kids miss their moves, the plane may not crash.
Nice landing. Sometimes after installation the runway just goes usually to the right, and it’s impossible to center the plane, the gamepad doesn’t want to work well, and the autopilot is inaccurate. I solved this problem by playing power intensive games, and by completing quests. One if these quests is in Cod 4, by taking out the two choppers with the rockets. The rockers were hidden next to the bus. I needed 10 retries to complete the quest. After that, the runway in flight sim remained in the center, the autopilot became accurate, and the gamepad started working. The nanouvers were beautiful, the chance of crashing the plane was reduced to 0. I can even swim the plane on water like a boat, earlier it always caused a crash.
Hello buddy for some reason when I turn final approach my plane descends very fast then on approach hold my stratojet drops out of the sky any ideas why?
