Not trying to be an asshole just trying to inform, usually when something is done over and over it’s called a row not multiples. Also yea what he’s doing IS sideswipe semi frontswing sideswipe semi. The thing is, if you record someone doing a cork and replay it in reverse, it looks identical to this. That’s why some people call it reverse cork, but the technical name is sideswipe semi
@@koolersprout3480 thanks yh correcting my mistake is fine. I need to do some tricking revision. Yes.. semi is the transition. I must say I think calling a sideswipe semi a reverse cork doesn't make sense. (Although I appreciate thats what it looks like but it is not) Row I've never heard of that before. Does "row" that come from gymnastics or is it a tricking expression?
@@trulgn honestly i have no clue where "row" comes from, i just know that's the term people predominately use in tricking. i get what you're saying about calling a sideswipe semi a reverse cork not making sense, BUT, if you properly analyze a sideswipe semi IN REVERSE, you'll see that it checks all the boxes of what a cork is. corks have one plant leg - so does a sideswipe semi corks have one backswing leg - sideswipe semi has one frontswing leg corks have at least one 360 - so does a sideswipe semi corks have one flip - so does a sideswipe semi (i know sometimes it can be hard to tell if a trick reaches the point of being considered a flip or not; a good rule of thumb i use is to see if BEFORE THE PERSON LANDS their head and hips become level with each other at ANY point during the trick) i know in reverse it looks like a really weird cork, but it does check all the boxes I know you're prolly gonna disagree with something i said here so go ahead and tear into me
@@koolersprout3480 the reason why I think it makes no sense is because this combo for example if I say wow levi that reverse cork row was amazing. To me doesn't make sense as reverse is also a old skool setup like jstep where instead of stepping in a j you would step 180 degrees or reverse. So I would rather say sideswipe semi every time. Naming a trick something because when it played in reverse looks like another trick is absurd to me. It's like putting a Ferrari badge on a car that's not a Ferrari and saying look that's a Ferrari. Thats my take on it. For me it just presents more confusion than calling it a cork semi. You have good tricking knowledge when did you start tricking?
