When I saw the menu with doubles on it, I definitely didn't order it. Doubles is to be served hot from the vendor, not on a plane! Oh and the wine choices could be better as well!
Ive done the kin-jfk route biz clsss and i paid about $850usd round trip , you sayd you paid ariubf $1100 one way is shocking to me , i consder cal the cheapest biz class coming from North America to the caribbean. P.s i got that same dessert but i vriught it home it tasted ok but i still could not figure out exactly what it was partly bcz the menu infused it sort of masking the true flavour
Yep. Flying out of POS has been crazy expensive as of late but September prices are looking more reasonable. This flight was bought on points though (25,000 points + $30 in taxes).
I would give it a 7 ,because I've seen much better business class on other airlines that fly the same distance on other routes, all in all they can step up their game in the future.
I am going to give my true honesty in this right here, I usually fly CAL out of JFK to either Kingston when I going home, or POS when I'm going to see friends and I must say on both routes, CAL is tremendously been expensive recently. With other carriers like Jetblue really pushing their competitiveness, and their prices way cheaper CAL needs to figure something out when it comes to ticket pricing. On my most recent trips, I've been using Jetblue back and forth just because it is so much cheaper.
Have not but can't hurt to try. Just bid below the difference of the full ticket price. I've seen people bid $100 successfully on a ticket that might be $500 difference if they bought it in cash.

While I usually like these as they're easy to relax to, I come to *you* specifically for the lil Trini accent and ting nah. I'll be quite honest. I wasn't even planning on doing a review but I changed my mind last minute. Thought about voicing it but the clips were so short to fit in everything, so I ended up doing text because people could pause to read. However I do plan to return to voicing future vids. Agreed with them dropping the ball on seatback TVs in economy. They could have sold more advertising to companies to make the ticket prices more affordable
Comfort Inn makes you fight to get your room deposit refunded back to you. It’s been over a week and they still haven’t refunded it. You call on the phone and you get the runaround. It’s really a hassle. They seem to especially think because someone is elderly they can rob them
File a claim through your credit card company. The deposit is only a hold. The bank can dispute it and get it released if it's beyond their allotted period.
Yea. Given the market conditions, I don't see it improving because the clientele is not there to support a better product. It's very comparable to the other US carriers in their first class domestic product as well flying into/out of Trinidad.

Great stuff. Gotta love our CAL. Once I hear Captain David Dass is in command of the airplane, I am very pleased. He is one the best there is. Also flew with him on the BW526/527 routes.
Story time So one time i was flying in buisness class on a 3hr flight and when the flight landed according to the airlines policy buisness class passengers would be given priority so that they could exit first. But an economy passenger just walked up and tried to exit but the really sweet flight attendent told him to wait and insisted that we exitted first but he wasnt having any of that and he started yelling and threatening the flight attendent so she let him go for her safety and i dont blame her for that because she was a really sweet person. But as the rude guys was leaving he just gave me this terrifying glare. Its a moment that i would never forget.
For the price to travel with CAL, it’s disappointing. This product is lacking and behind industry service standards. The Cabin Crew is the airline biggest asset ☺️.
Thank you! I feel your pain. I was down to the last 2 first class suites and just randomly picked a seat. Nothing opened up since and I had to go windowless lol.
@@christhompson6010 Yes lol. I was actually pretty underwhelmed given this was my first time on a 787, but I guess the average consumer wants a quieter aircraft.
