Horseshit As a beginner you can't even understand how to properly import and place a model into zbrush within 8 minutes. Even after all these years zbrush has the worst UI
Not really helpful for complete beginners because it's too fast. I'd say this is a great video to watch after you get a handle on the interface etc. I must say after using Autodesk tools for 24 years, Zbrush is the most foreign interface for a 3D package I've ever seen.
I am a newb . Aoeak to me as if a child. You said you highlt recommend using a tablet . Tablets dont have USB ports. I do not have any devices right now but my phone . Do i need to purchase a laptop to use Zbrush or can i get away with a tablet?
@@barlowetube Zbrush is only available on PC or Mac currently, so there is no tablet version available. You will need a laptop. Zbrush for Ipad is coming sometime this year or next though!
this is so helpful 🥺😭 please come back to youtube! (unless of course u cant for personal reasons, in which case i wish the best for you !!) much thanks from the philippines 💖
this is skipping so much important shit. if you do literally anything aside from what he shows, you'll probably lock yourself in a different situation & not know how to go back 😂this is just "random shit you might want to know about zbrush in 9 minutes" this did not help anyone learn zbrush as a whole or how to generally use it
Mr. Gatz 3D, or however I should refer to you -- thank you so much for this video. I am a product design student looking to pursue toymaking. I've been told that ZBrush is the industry standard, and while I have worked pretty extensively in Nomad (an iPad/Apple Software for ios devices), ZBrush felt like this untamable beast that stood between me and my dream career. I couldn't get it, and usually I'm a fast learner. I took a Linkedin Learning course trying to ease the frustration with the program, but left after less than ten lessons more confused and intimidated than anything. My aspirations lie in making toys, and with ZBrush being the most acceptable approach to toy creating, I felt the reins of my future would surely slip in my own hands. Yesterday I was desperate and determined to learn again, and I clicked on your video. You explained the basics so concisely and I felt so much hope just being able to navigate the interface. Thank you for inadvertently saving my career. You've earned a new subscriber for sure!
I appreciate this, I literally went through these super complex videos trying to figure out how to sculpt imported items with the symmetry, and all I needed to do was click x. you saved me with this quick easy run through of thing you can do.
After making a hand, using adaptive skin, using make polymesh 3d, and then sculpting on the hand is there any way to repose the fingers of the hand once sculpted on to?
the desync between you speech and the video, the amount of actions happening on video while you're trying to explatin shift+d is on another level you're good as an artist, but tutorials isn't yours...

Man, you are the only one who gets right to the point! A bit fun inbetween, but no uncessary bla bla! Subscribed and from now on following everything you show me! 🚀
bro, i have the newer versin of zbrush and the lay out is a little different and uv master is not on that list, is in another list from the top tools, is there any way to move the icon (name uv master) by itself towards the list on the right without moving the hole entire column?
