EEEEEcentric is not a word anywhere in the English language. Eccentric means ‘away from the center’. A crazy person is called eccentric bc they are ‘away from the center of normality’. A ‘negative’ movement of an exercise is a movement of the tendons ‘away from the center of the muscle’. It makes perfect sense from an etymological standpoint. Mispronouncing it as eeeecentric would mean ‘without a center’, which makes no sense. Another line of logic proving that it must be pronounced eK-Sen-Trik is that the first syllable is ‘ec’, which can only be pronounced ‘ek’ in English. There’s no possibility of a silent ‘c’. There’s no controversy regarding how to pronounce ‘centric’. So, the word is pronounced, eK-Sen-Trik. But don’t take my word for it! Look it up in literally any English dictionary. Plus, your examples were mostly wrong.
Good start but you need to study more before recording brother. What muscle are you talking about? You showed compound exercises that involve several muscles.
Fast reps use the fast twitch muscles though which makes it that all the muscles needed in the excercise activate at the same time rather than the other muscle groups coming to play one at a time
Caraca mano os canais aqui do Brasil não ensinam igual esse cara ele explicou certinho e ainda falou variações de flexão de punho cerrado um vídeo que ninguém fez no Brasil ainda sou português e ainda assim explicou certinho e aprendi agradeço pelo vídeo
My riding instructor way back in the day told me to stand on a step and work on stretching my feet and ankles down because I could not keep my heels down in the stirrup (I have VERY weak ankles that have been sprained many times over the years and they're really inflexible). So there are other benefits to that Progression 2 exercise besides just working the calves. I probably need to do this daily because I would like to be able to do an Asian deep squat, but the ankles are not having it when I try.
Slow reps recruit less fast fiber witch means less muscle growth. It's been debunked for a while... Junkies do it because slow reps give you a greater pump and they benefit a lot from it but naturals don't.
I got this thing a few days ago since i drive truck. So no gym no regular place to even really walk. I appreciate this cause the regfit free app that shows all the work outs isn't working for me for some reason. Yes it comes with 4 bands and you can buy more.
I’m just getting into slow rep (38) and loving it. It feels like I’m working way more on form and doing the exercise correct and safe vs just trying to burn through it with not care. My muscles are definitely feeling a deeper burn.
@@zexxeslay actually a little bit yes. It really does feel like a deeper burn and focusing on form I feel like I’m using more muscles to help support my body in the main workout I’m doing in the moment. It’s a little challenging once getting that pump to stay slow and steady instead of hulking out. Listening to mellower music is helping with that instead of the high energy music I usually listen to. Overall I’m really enjoying it so far.
Hi is there any advice for the overweight & very out of shape and/or western seniors just getting into fitness? Even these warm ups and progressions seem not enough to help with someone who’s hips, & legs not just ankles, are so tight, they can’t seem to squat all the way down. Also how many sets of Asian Squat with kettlebell per day or week?
If u just for show then slow is fine if like me u wana be strong and fast in a fight then fast fast all the way, from 2 hour weights training I now do 45 mins same exercises but just a heack of a lot faster u should feel like u done a cardio workout, 3 days a week every other day I do cardio and abdomen exercises and boxing with other mma whoever I can do at home
