Very well done Jake! I'm a tech and saw nothing I'd change. One thing that would be good to note is WHY you disconnected the neg(-) battery cable first, and reconnected it last. Some folks might think the order doesn't matter. Thumbs up!
Found a razor blade in mine…. don’t understand who in my family had that in a pocket…. Great video! saved me $$$ not having to get a repair man or new washer! Thanks
Previous owner of the place I live in has painted over all the lanterns, and now I have to take a razor to try separate the paint that's effectively welded the entire thing shut 🙃
Good video and I hope you've discovered rulers by now! Remember your 1/16" comment! The red and white jacks would look a bit better, and provide better finger access, if they were a bit farther apart.
Great fix! I have a 2014 CX9 GT. The "infotainment" center with a screen smaller than many cell phones is among the worst out there (even for the time) Moreover, when it works it takes about Two minutes for the Bluetooth to load, synch, and start playing after ignition. It is overall a great vehicle. Because of this after many miles I'm going to swap it out. Even the most basic budget system would be better than what it came with.
You are a life saver!! I have had no idea of the model number as they’re all worn off, but that’s the same mower I’ve got and the part and sockets all fit🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thanks again for a great walk through!!
When entering "forced mode" and a forced function is selected, the unit will continue that function beeping permanently. Instead of using "demo mode" to cancel the forced function, you simply enter forced mode again, scroll through the forced functions until the screen is blank like it was the first time you entered forced mode and don't tough anything, after a few seconds it will exit forced mode but with the previously selected forced function now disabled.
Thanks for making the video, which gave me the confidence to do this fix (there was a sock in the pump). Thanks also to the commenters for the tip on using a shop vac first to suck the remaining water out of the tub and then to suck the water up when you detach the hose (from the tub) to the pump. Using the vacuum there was very little water on the floor. Like other commenters, the pump on my particular model was different than the video, and was held down with screws, not bolts. Still it was in the same location with the same hose positions. I did not have to detach the pump from the machine to pull the hose off and take out the sock. If your machine is sitting in a drain pan, be sure to search for the videos that show how to use PVC pipe to easily and safely lift the machine out of the pan to where you can work on it. About 35 years ago I had a washer that regularly sucked little socks into the pump. I got really good at extracting them. I can't believe 35 years later they have not solved this problem!
This wasma really great series of videos. I'm gonna try this tonight and see if that's the issue, and if it is, we'll have all night to let it thaw. Thanks!
Saved me on calling a handyman to install new door frame or probably have to get new door also. What R current cost like $3K US dineros? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 U saved my hard earned 💵. Now I gotta spend on my señorita's on madre dia. 🥶
Nice video thanks. I have a few things to add. As far as draining the machine is concerned, if you have a floor drain or door to the outside you can just place a small shop vac hose on the washers outlet pipe and when you lower the washers outlet pipe it will flow freely until the tub is almost empty, You can then just suck out the rest with the shop vac. Also my machine was a little different when the pump was supposed to run I could hear a motor running but nothing pumped out.I looked in the pump suction but the impeller was free and could easily spin, but I went ahead and bought a replacement pump. When the pump arrived I had to turn the washer on the side because instead of bolts holding the motor there were 2 screws that could only be reached from the bottom, this actually made the job easier and it took less than 15 minutes start to finish to remove and reinstall the pump. It worked perfectly. I was curious about what was wrong with the pump. I disassembled the pump and found that the impeller was spinning freely because the motor shaft had corroded and broke.
The way to get the highest mpg is to drive just fast enough to get your car to slip into the highest gear. 50mph is about where my Avalon gets the best, but I at least go 60ish and still get 32-35mpg when I behave, and 29-32ish on average driving with low city usage.
Better solution, dont buy any this kind refrigerator. We are the customer, it our choice. So much time trying fix things that could not even exist. This manufactures dont work for consumers, they work for themselves.
