@@lukaweixler personally it’s been one of the best cars I’ve ever owned. It’s at 141k miles now with 75k of those miles being mine. I’ve replaced the high pressure fuel pump a headlight and some gaskets. That’s it. I drive it hard and am meticulous on oil changes. Overall if you get a good one the 3.2 is a legendary engine. -Austin
Hi there! This was simply a rear muffler and mid resonator delete. Original cat. I have since switched to an X-pipe and added a vibrant bottle style resonator to each side. It sounds even better now! -Austin
Thank you! It sounds even better now. I have an exhaust update 80% done just need to wrap it up... Added an X-pipe and a Vibrant bottle style resonator on each side. -Austin
I had an '07 6mt with an exhaust system also. Such a fun car, super reliable. A whole bunch of torque. I have a b8 S4 now with the 6mt also. It's pretty much the same car with a supercharger. Audi's V6's are great engines
i’ve got one, 201,000 miles on it so far. if you get an automatic the transmissions for this model are bullet proof. just did the steering rack though, starting leaking after front axel work, that was a bitch to do. got mine lowered on h&r suspension and it looks real nice. manual would be fun, but for a daily automatic is nice.
No timing belt ✊🏾it's the upgraded 2.8 which I've had for 13yrs and dog the hell out of it. Mine is a 97 and I'm just thinking of getting rid of it. Also regular gas ⛽️ non aspirated doesnt need high octane.
@@zureai Hows the carfax/service history? If it's good and fluids have been changed and it's all stock I'd go for it. The 3.2 is a wonderful engine. It's not a race car but powerful enough for fun and gets good mileage tbh.
Question someone wants to trade me their 05 Audi a4 Quattro 2.0T with 131,xxx auto for my 08 audi a4 Quattro 3.2 manual sline titanium with 216,xxx. I want to mod my car. But can’t really with the v6
Looking at buying a new car. Looking for something fun but still practical. This has my eye or possibly a g37 , or 3 series... any major engine problems?
It's a great car! However, If you are looking to do a lot of engine mods I would not suggest this car. The aftermarket support is minimal. While they are awesome in stock form it's an important thing to know. After minor mods the car is even better but not the best platform to go crazy with mods on. Some exhaust, suspension, and other minor exterior mods are about as far as you can go here. With that said the 3.2 V6 from Audi is wonderful as long as it was taken care of. At 133k miles all I've done is gaskets like the oil filter housing gasket and I did replace the High Pressure Fuel Pump. I've owned the car for 5 years and put about 50k miles on it. Go drive one! If you can find one that is...
Find a local exhaust/muffler shop and have them remove the rear mufflers. That's a great place to start. I haven't posted a video of it yet but my car now has an X-pipe and 2 vibrant resonators. In this video as I mention It is muffler and mid resonator delete with the original H-pipe. I hope this helps! -Austin
I ended up doing something very similar! I went with an xpipe to a bottle style Vibrant resonator on each side. Sounds fantastic. I should post an update soon... -Austin
So happy to say I just picked one of these up a month ago! Im absolutely in love, and it has enough thrust to go ham on the on ramp but otherwise quiet at speed. Would highly Reccamend!
@@yvez2925hit 222k miles! Clutch or master slave cylinder needs replacing though, but besides that nothing crazy! So far Ive put a new axel in, new lower control arms, and new plugs/coils all around. And engine sound at the rear (in ref to timing chains) all good!
@@Cooperdaleit thanks and do you have any other vids of it cause I’m not sure if I want to do this or take off the small resonators right after the cat
@@AaronLynch702 I do! Check out my channel. I would start with the rear mufflers first and then decide if you are happy. On the 8th of this month, I am having an X-pipe and a pair of vibrant bottle-style resonators installed. I will post a video after that's done! -Austin
Congratulations! You found a unicorn. Yes! Great question. I highly suggest going through Enfig. The kit from them will get all of the connections you need to plug and play. I've spoken with the owner he is a good guy. Here is a link: enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_SONY_XAV_AX5000_AUDI_KIT.html -Austin
Yeooo austin cooper i got a question right! So i have a audi b7 3.2L v6 came with a few issues I’ve had it for around 6 months I’ve recently came across a audi same year 06 s4 tho should i pursue it or work on the 3.2 pass up on it? The 3.2 got 293 km S4 got like 150 km Please reply
I loved mine but they do need repairs that get costly thats why i had to trade mine as a broke college student only worked part time- but man it was a beautiful car even though it was 10 Years old at the time people complimented me at gas stations bone stock
