Be careful..Stay Humble, be true to your God-given talent, because, seriously, you were so much of a bigger person when I first heard you...before influence and fame got you. Now, you're this...like, "ohhhh, looky at me, but..I'm skinny, so yeah, you were kinda right, except I dind't know I should be until my record label told me that I should so lose the weight and blame it on you so it will make me look so much the better person and sell us so many more records and put so much more money in my now baggy pants pockets.
If a singer can't hit the low note on the word "wat-er" then he's singing in the wrong key and adjusting traditionally great lyrics to his own liking ? Anyone? Great voice for perhaps a different song in a different key, however. Listen to Bobby Helms-for the original melody sung as written. "Time That You're Moving On" and "I Ain't no Middleman!" I was lucky enough to be at this gig…….her very first London headliner, she was here playing support for Luke Combs. Going to see her for the 9th time in January
I’m so touched by this song. I lost my Gpa recently and after this video I picked up the guitar and I’m learning but I hope I can write one this beautiful. Thank you Ashley
Ashley, if your Father taught you to love the Lord, he taught you one of the most important lessons ever. My Father exposed me enough to the teachings of Jesus Christ, plus my Mother lived by the Living Words of Jesus and set a wonderful example for others. I was blessed and recognize that today many children do not know what it is like to have a Father or a Mother. Just, any and all that can help, just reach out a bit.
Just lost my step up daddy of 40yrs on the 10th of August and played this song for my sister...needless to say we both lost it. I miss that man more than I've ever missed anyone
Old men are not hard, the lessons they teach are. Unless you are a politician as you get older you realize you don't have time to tell lies. Give back what you can, while you can.
