Thanks for posting this review. Like you, I have read a mixed set of reviews but think I will get one. My car isn't a G8, but I think this will work with my lowered car better than most other low profile jacks. Like one of the below viewers said, perhaps next time consider showing it in use as a jack is one of those tools that can perform differently under load. Thanks again though, good review.
(not my car) yes the front emblem is held in by 3 small pins (the only emblem fastened this way on a G8) if you remove it you will have small holes to deal with. This being a gxp, I'm willing to bet dude had body work done to fill and paint them.

I just brought some red covers and the have me a roll of thin double sided tape to secure them. Where did you get your seat covers? I've been searching for full slip on covers for my 2013 f1-50 Supercrew 3.5 Ecoboost split seats.
Those are not seat covers, those are the factory upholstery on that sport special edition package along with the seat belts that are trimmed in red too
@@tbreen1966 yep I like the seats I thought they were covers. Also, I was saying i have a roll of thin two-sided tape and any loose red knobs I used the tape on, and they hold hot or cold out no problem.
I have a 2022 stx and my shifter is by the steering. Also only my only knob cover that fits is the "drive mode" knob. All the rest just fall right off.
there’s this g8 gt im looking at for $9,500 with 155k miles on it with cai. long tube headers. magnaflow exhaust system and a tune and it’s been taking care of. guy bought it in 2011 and put 75k miles on it he rarely drives it now and it is garage kept but idk how reliable the g8s are. what are your thoughts on it ? should i take the chance?

Nice rare white. I just got myself one with 9000 miles on it. It’s stock. I’m curious about what issues you’ve had with your car. I am doing the dod delete and putting in a ls3 cam for reliability. Since you bought the kooks long tube what did you put in between that and the solo axel back? For your rear differential swap what is the point of this?
My grille inserts do not come out that easy matter of fact the whole cat moves when o tried to pull them out. There seems to be tabs holding them in your suppose to some how much on to remove them it looks like.
Once they come out once then they go as easy as he did. First time to be safe remove the bumper and get a small flat head on the clips to pot them off most of the way. Next time after that super easy.
Looks like it doesn't go anywhere, I didnt see you redline it at all ? I can't see the point in having a stall that big on the street when ya not engaging full lock, cruising around.must chew shit load of fuel reving like that , apart from it sounding good.
