The same happen to us but we got delayed on our first flight in Fort Lauderdale and the airline did cover the food and hotel but we got switched from Brussels (which is why the 1st flight was canceled something to do with Brussels connection). We ended up flying to Washington and then Accra. I am going again this year but we know to just do a straight flight from Washington now.
That's nice that they at least gave you accommodation! The empathy was lacking on United's side...Just glad I had family to come to the rescue. And absolutely, straight flight from now on. Ghana is super expensive now though 😩
❤❤❤❤❤ this will help lots of people especially those being bullied and those who don’t believe in themselves. Thanks for sharing your experience 😊😊love you💘
Awww I surely hope it does! I'll be making a similar video, I'm thinking, to show my style/fashion journey over the years. Thank you for your uplifting feedback as always! Love you too sis 💜💜🫶🏾🫶🏾🥰🥰🥰😘😘

☹️😞😩😫mine’s tomorrow it takes me about 4 to 5 hours on a good day. Glad to see that I’m not alone 😂😂😂i everybody tells you oh I wish my hair was like yours it’s so pretty. I laugh in tell them no you don’t trust me it hurts in takes a lot of time and patience .
I'm checking in! Hope it went well? 👀 Please let us know you're okay lolol In all seriousness, I'm learning to love my hair more. The hours I spent on it was partially procrastinating the next steps but wash day is definitely a whole deal. The routine makes a difference though. Maybe I'll share how I've made mine a bit easier ❤

Hi Michael! You have no idea how much your comment touched me. Thank you so much for the support over these years! And yes, I've visited that assembly ground before. Wow! One year!! I contemplated starting another RU-vid channel from scratch, but I realized that nothing's broken. I'm still trying at content creating. But I've just let the social media pressure get in the way of all the fun. And yes, life has been a constant roadblock, too. Whether creating leads to nothing more than me using these outlets to explore my creative side and just have fun, or it leads to more...I'm just going to keep going until I feel ready to hang up the towel! And honestly, if y'all knew what walking in my shoes has been like for the last few years...you'd wonder why I'm still even trying. I'm not trying to be famous, but honestly, content creating has produced opportunities for different people. Parents, teens, students, teachers, grandparents, small businesses, and the list goes on. If you're blessed enough to find a good niche that sells easily and execute, you're fortunate. I applaud you. If you grind day and night creating content and end up being able to pay your bills in the end, I applaud you too! But patience is a virtue, and I've be lacking in that department. I also lack in the consistency department. I know this... I'm not going to focus on posting a lot. I'm going to focus on my why and have fun creating. So, to add a bit of culture to this caption... As one African Proverb says: "If you do not have patience, you cannot make beer." Maybe my beer won't taste the best, and maybe it won't be the most popular, but by the time I'm done making it, it'll be the most refreshing...to me. 🙏🏾 -Afi
Y'all, I went in with so much hope. But... lol just watch! 😂 For more skin care/self care videos, don't forget to LIKE, COMMENT, and SUBSCRIBE! Thanks loves! ❤
Bouncing back doesn't happen over night... So give yourself a little grace as you get back to reality. Give yourself a little grace as you unlearn the habits that take time to unlearn. Our mind is a muscle, and in order to make it better and stronger, we must keep trying at the hard stuff. You'll be okay, you're doing better than you realize...Don't give up 🩷
Traveling solo always seemed lonesome and scary to me, but I'm so glad i did it! I've learned that when we travel, we're not really alone. We meet people along the way, we make our way to friends, loved ones, new faces...a change in atmosphere. Such is life. We do it alone and not alone at the same time. I hope this year you do at least one thing that scares you. You are not your anxiety ♡ Hope you enjoyed this little glimpse into my first ever solo trip! If you haven't done your first solo trip yet, where would you go? Comment below!
Looking back on my life, 2014 was the year I graduated from High school. 10 years later (woah), and you'd think I have a clue what's going on. Truth is...I'm a puzzle piece still trying to find her place...still trying to figure it out. I know we tend to be harder on ourselves. Cuz in reality, I know I've done some growing. It may not always feel like I've made strides or progress in my life. I keep falling down...but I'll admit, I don't stay on the ground. I've been staying afloat...on those "clouds". And each day, God has been my strength. Although my grip may loosen, He keeps holding onto me firmly. To succeed means to fail. And failing means trying. Trying is winning. In time I'll find my way...and I'll continue growing through every trial I'm going through!
