I've been a fan of Korn for 30 years, and I LOVE Head's story and testimony and life. Like he said Korn has helped so many of us fans connect and heal. Thank you for everything and sharing.
This is insane. I never knew how much I had in common with one of my all time favorite artists… I found them completely by accident bc they were playing with my favorite band at the time Wednesday 13 on Halloween, he stood beside me in one of the merch lines and I thought it was pretty cool. Gemini Syndrome has helped me through a lot and really opened up my mind to new ideas. You guys are amazing ; I can’t wait to see them again 🫶🎶
What he’s talking about in the beginning about being high and drunk all the time is being distracted. See, when you are in a state of being where you’re intoxicated, it gives you something to focus on. A feeling to latch onto, something to ride on for a little while. When you’re sober, you have to deal with whatever’s inside. It’s the distractions that give us comfort and safety because the fear of not knowing what’s going on can drive us insane. My brother just turned me onto some tool, and he mentioned how the song lateralus is about riding that spiral, going down where life takes you. When you do that, you’ll find yourself where you need to be. It’s like when the ocean takes you into a tide. When you fight it, you drown. When you give up to it, it’ll take you back to shore. Being sober is just like that. Let what’s inside steer for a while and be open to its discomfort. You’ll only find peace at the end of it.

Thank you Mitch, This 7 minute video will definetly save someone's life. I am going to share it with everyone I know, You have the perfect platform to get this message out to the world. I am a 67 year old rocker and I have to admit that some of your music comes from a place so deep withinn you, that it activates something deep within me. I will find myself driving with a tear rolling down my cheek. Please don't ever stop what you are doing, Music it what carries me through life , It's my bright spot. I can alomst always find a song that can explain my feelings better than I can and a few of your songs are at the top of that list. Thank you from Wisconsoin!!!!
Man, Broke was my favorite album when I was a teenager. It was perfect for my angsty, edgy, angry tendencies and it was a great outlet. I was recently searching for music I used to listen to and came across the album again, which led me to this. It's so awesome to see that you've gone on to do something that has such a positive impact on so many people. Good for you, man.
Jim you are MY FAVORITE member of slipknot. This video really HIT HOME 2 me. IT IS ME…. I’m trapped in my own mind. My own prison. Just want to say THANK YOU for who you are and the joy you bring to EVERYONE surrounding you
Matt, your music and lyrics have done so much to help my now 14 year old son over the last 4 years and I hope that one day I have the chance to thank you in person for it. When COVID lockdown started things got pretty dark in our house but he’s bouncing back more and more every day and his guitar has been a critical in helping him cope with starting high school and all the other challenges that many teens face. We took him to his first Trivium show in 2022 and we’ll be going to MANY MORE! He even converted me, a 20+ year hardcore industrial fan 😜
Great story, but I have a question. If god is so loving, why did he create a food chain where so many innocent animals suffer and shred each other to pieces? If there is a god, he has a lot of explaining to do. The whole Bible story beginning with Adam and the eve is stupid too. We live in a world of sin because Eve ate an apple? And a group of people lived in a whales stomach for several days? The stories are f ing stupid
