Going full circle on this. This fix worked for about 5 years. I eventually replaced it with an e28 motor, but I had to hack up the regulator a bit (do not recommend). At this point in time, Rockauto has these for $89 which includes the motor and whole regulator assembly. I would advise going in that direction if you can afford it.
Hello Joy. Thanks for your kind words. I will politely ignore them. This video of mine has done really well compared to others, so I will leave the jumbled words and creepy music. It might have done well because of those items. Who knows. Have a good day!
I stopped at the mine this month on my way to Cody Wyoming and I must say this video is the best footage I have seen so far of the remnants of the mine disaster. If you can do something better get on it instead of criticizing.
Since you're talking about east of Red Lodge and you mention methane, I ASSUME this refers to one of the area coal mines. But you're not telling any story here, and I don't think you understand what you're looking at in the drone footage. What you show here appears to be a perhaps a breaker and classification plant, but where is the mine itself? How did miners GET underground? The building with the round framework appears to be a rotary dumper for mine cars, but I see no headframe or hoisting mechanism. And where are the tailings piles? You mention 7000 feet, but do you mean DOWN or IN as with a horizontal adit? One can find the location on a mapping program such as Acme mapper, due east of Red Lodge across a low ridge between Washoe and Bear Creek, just off the highway to the south. There is a much bigger tale here, but you're just finding the fringes.
@@ponispal I did the research BEFORE I commented. And I commented in such a way that you could state the facts yourself and sound more intelligent. I tried to coax more information from your own words. Instead you reacted quite defensively, with a reply I would expect from someone who had NOT done their research. I was trying to point out that there was a bigger story here that you could use to supplement your video, and even guide you to some of it, but you missed the opportunity completely. As a former underground miner and an avid reader of history, I understand the detail, but the general viewer doesn't. Why don't you be the hero in this commentary and show people more of what you know (or could research) instead of uttering a defensive response that suggests you are at the limits of your abilities..
Bro, I just stopped on the side of the road, saw this was cool and tossed a drone in the air. Then I googled a bit, found a website and posted SOME facts about the mine. Chill out, please.
@@marshallnoise3557 Why don't you chill out with the rude responses. You just sound like a smart*ss kid. Maybe you should have stated that in the first place instead sounding like you knew something.
@@steeplecab, Fella, you came after me for not telling the "whole story" in the manner YOU expected. I explained what I did. Now you get to flash your big brain to everyone around here and look like a jerk at the same time. In the description, there is a link to the University of Montana that does a bit of explaining about the disaster and the area. I should delete your comment because you are being a jerk, but considering it has some value, despite your criticisms, I am going to leave it up. Plus it shows how unfun you are as a human being in spite of your knowledge.
What kind of mine was it coal, gold, copper-?Was it a deep mine, slope mine, or shaft mine ?What fueled the explosion What kind of ventilation was used ?
It was a horizontal adit coal mine. I have not found information regarding underground ventilation in that mine. At that distance from the adit, there would not be adequate natural ventilation, and pockets of gas could build up. And while a ventilation shaft could have been raised from the workings, that didn't generate income, and in those times, wasn't a priority.
@@ponispal There are not but a few mines in the world that deep. I did search Wikipedia, and unlike Bruce (below), the Wikipedia article I read did not give the depth. Neither did the Historical Marker at the mine site, which I have driven by at least a hundred times and read a dozen or so times. The University of Montana website did confirm the depth at 7,000 feet.
That first hoodoo is called Goose Rock, but it also looks like Bart Simpson on his skateboard. The last rock you approached is called Little Old Lady and her House. Somebody hit a black bear right by that pullout about three days ago!
Great startup! I gotta ask since I’m rebuilding a 4bt for the first time. What did you give 12v to fire up the motor? Obviously the starter, but something to the injection pump? Could you explain? I’d love to test run it before I put it back in the forklift
Just fuel to the lift pump on the block, 12v to the fuel shut off solenoid and two fully charged 12v batteries in parallel to wing that sucker on over!
Just caught your video, pretty cool. Food for thought tho, be careful not sure what wyoming game and fish would say but they may consider that wildlife harassment. just incase they witness this vid.
Bro, why was the winter-kill so big? Assuming that your comment was an unusually large #. Was it the large snowfall? It was funny, southwest of Lander the antelope seemed to be all stacked up against the fence. They weren't doing that anywhere else than there. 😂
@@4louiseabbott Major snowfall last winter in central and southern Wyoming. There were times I-80 was drifted in up to the overpasses. Several herds of mule deer and antelope were wiped out. Lander had over 60 inches of snowfall, and Teton Village in Jackson Hole had over 50 FEET of snowfall.
My truck looks exactly like your after installing the drop brackets I order online! What is the reason for that? Do I need alignment or need to lift it more?
Honestly, I am unsure as to why it happens. Some folks swear their trucks don't have the issue. I do know that the alignment definitely helped my issues. I think more lift exacerbates the issues. Not totally sure.
This was an eBay job. I would reach out to Superlift. Call them and ask for kit options for your specific truck. Their parts are superior to what I got off eBay and they are very reasonably priced.
I had one of these Egrets @ the end of my cul-de-sac. I followed it around [I never think @ videoing, 😢] Anyway, it was hunting lizards & I think I counted it eating @ 10 lizards. It was very good at it! I ❤😂
