I've heard there are plans to continue the series in some way, after the end of the movie where Homura was able to use the power of evil love to get exactly what she wanted. It makes it clear in the movie that Madoka still remembers who she was and what happened, at least to some degree, and apparently there's supposed to be a new series where Mami is the one leading the good magical girls to save the world from Homura as a newly risen God of War. Which, if true, would be real kickass.kickers. I just hope that if that's true, it also includes Tart from one of the spin-off manga, which is what the called Joan of Arc, who was a magical girl. But not just any magical girl. Apparently she was so powerful that she was able to make a wish to "become strong enough to save France" in the war, and instead of getting the pretty basic power that wish would normally grant, she got almost godlike power. When she finally ultimately died, she was so powerful that she was able to create a sort of Heaven for magical girls, which she acts as the guardian angel of, so they can actually have something good once their job is complete. I've heard theories that it remained unaffected when Homura changed everything, since it had somebody as powerful as Tart protecting it. Who can say, though? It seems unlikely that we'll ever really get any more of the series, but I hope we do.

+Jan Prachenský not necessarily. Remember the 2 ways you can die if your magical are(SPOILERS): 1. If you use up too much magic or fall into despair and become a witch 2. Your soul gem is damaged in anyway shape or form
+darkroronoa I believe you can. If you can recall in the episode just before Sayaka turned into a witch, she was talking to Kyouko and said, " For all the happiness you wish for someone, someone else gets cursed with equal misery." So if you wish for your happiness, you're helping to make someone else's life miserable. And vice versa. Sayaka herself is prove. She wished for Kyouske's happiness and fell into despair. Kyouko might've too when her wish backfired, if not for her point of view on life. Mami wished to live and that was selfish and even if she cried sometimes, she didn't fall into despair even with how lonely she was. And that was probably the same with Kyouko. She probably mourned her family's death but decided to move on, like is normal with a lot of families. Either that or she disliked her father so much after that witch comment and didn't care.
